Do you find similar damage on the roofs you inspect?

Currently working claims in Virginia with 2.25" or greater hail. I've noticed frequent damage to the ridge caps and soft metals / plastic turtles on roofs.

Hey Mr. Daniel !quick question in California you are required to have some prerequisites before you can apply to get your license but it doesn’t make sense.. I have searched high and low how are you supposed to gain experience if no one will hire you without any? I have searched Google over and over many different ways a times to find an answer… that’s one of the things holding me back from purchasing my course because I don’t know if I will be able to.
To be exact listed below is what I’m
    talking about
-Have two years of certified experience in the insurance adjusting field, equal to 4,000 compensated hours

I have heard this before and the best way to gain experience before you get the license there is to get deployed with a CAT team that will give you the ability to work in CA under their license. Fantastic way to get hours. You can do this in any State during CAT work if the firm is willing to let you work under their license, but CA is the special one.

I have to push back. That’s not hail damage. That is weathering. I’m guessing the hail probably wasn’t more than 1.50” -2.00”in that area.
I saw no fractured mats and you have hits on multiple slope facing different directions. Hail usually hits in one direction. It doesn’t come in north then decides to double back and come in from the south.
