╔ About the Saatva pillow ╗
Saatva launched their brand in 2010, specializing in luxury mattresses and bedding. One of the first online mattress providers, Saatva has a ‘no-store’ policy so interested customers can only find their merchandise online.
The company is best known for the Saatva Mattress, a high-end mattress offered at half the price typical of premium mattresses. In addition to mattresses, Saatva offers high-quality bedding, including sheets and pillows.
This includes the Saatva Pillow, a specially constructed, three-layer pillow. The cover is 100% organic cotton. Its interior is made of a micro-denier fiber outer core, and an inner core filled with shredded American Talalay latex.
The pillow is designed to be hypoallergenic. Saatva washes the latex core multiple times to eliminate proteins and other allergens. The pillow’s gusseted design allows it to keep an original shape without going flat.
Both the cover and pillow’s outer layer are machine washable. The Saatva Dreams Pillow is also adjustable. The outer core easily separates from the pillow’s inner core, letting you choose which components of the pillow you wish to sleep on.
Those who bought a Saatva Pillow enjoyed sleeping on it. Particularly, they appreciated its plush, hotel-quality luxuriousness. The only real complaints were from stomach sleepers, who found that it was too plush for their liking or some who felt it wasn’t as adjustable as they wanted.
Still, most feedback about the Saatva Pillow in terms of comfort and quality was largely positive.
The Saatva Pillow possesses a unique “three-layer” design. The outer cover is composed of 100% organic cotton. Its gusseted design helps the pillow maintain its height and shape instead of flattening over time. The outer core of the pillow is comprised of a silk-like, micro-denier fiber substance that can be thought of as a down alternative. Lastly, the inner core of the pillow is made up of shredded 100% American Talalay latex.
The pillow is adjustable-with a loft that ranges between two and eight inches depending on the removal of the inner latex pillow or outer microfiber pillow cores. Both the cover, which unzips, and the outer core are machine washable. Although the pillow contains a shredded latex core, it’s hypoallergenic. During construction, Saatva washed the Talalay latex five times to remove the latex proteins known to cause allergies.
The overall pillow firmness is described as Medium-Soft. Although ideal for back and some side sleepers, the softness level might not be suitable for stomach sleepers.
Pros and Cons of the Saatva pillow
+ The gusseted design will help the pillow retain its height/shape much longer than a traditional pillow
+ The pillow is hypoallergenic, mildew-proof and resistant to dust mites
+ Promotes spinal alignment for most sleep positions
+ Designed to sleep cool and wick away moisture
+ Machine washable cover and outer core
    - It might be too soft for some side sleepers
    - Limited size availability
    - Fairly high price-point

I really love that you guys review pillows since good ones through reputable online sources such as Saatva can be a little bit pricey. This pillow seems pretty great for side sleepers, and I love that it has latex, since I sleep pretty hot. Might actually look into replacing my pillow!

I am always searching for a PERFECT side sleepers pillow. this one look Lofty enough for side sleepers and seems like it would support my head and neck without being to hard on my ear. I really like the cover on it. Looks breathable. Great pillow at a ok price. I really like the cover can be removed and washed. If you have any extras laying around at your shop please feel free to send one my way..lol Thanks for the reviews. They are very helpful

Its interesting! I am currently shopping for a new mattress. All the reviews for stomach sleepers always have a Saatva mattress in the choices. I might also consider this pillow.

Two washable layers? That's awesome! I always am afraid of germs within my pillows. This would put my mind at ease.

I like that it's made with 2 washable layers and it's adjustable. I also like that it bounces back, my pillows go flat too fast.

Interesting pillow with an inner core you can remove if needed. Seems to be best for lightweight back and side sleepers.

Interesting how the layers are individually wrapped and can come apart for washing and adjusting the feel. I am concerned about durability since it will lose shape over time when removing and replacing layers.

It looks too soft. Like the fact that you could add and remove layers.
