It's unfortunate that these passes are getting even more expensive for a bunch of lego items that I never plan on using.
It's still cheaper than if you wanted to buy Chewbacca from the shop. If it was 2500, I'd agree.

I don't think the point is that they EXPECT you to buy 4 passes. They're treating each mode as a separate game with light cross progression. Few people actively play all 4 modes, and they're okay with that. They don't want to be juggling 4 games, they just want you to play which mode(s) you enjoy.

The problem is that if you dont play lego you will have no use for the lego kits, also a simple solution would be make it so you earn progression on every pass in every mode. (also include mini passes in crew)
On the other side, if you dont play BR, you dont care about sprays, emoticons, backblings, gliders, and pickaxes. I do agree for cross pass progression, but also make the mini passes actual full blown passes for a season. Maybe do tier 80s like in ch1s2.

If you dont play lego, you only get the skin, cause you need to play to level UP the pass, so...
1400 for a Chewbacca skin in the item shop would be normal. But when you get a bunch of extra lego stuff on top of that... people get mad...

The pass isnt even at a bad price since it would be more expensive in shop because there is a very low chance Epic would sell a character like Chewbacca for less than 1500 Vbucks. Most skins with special rarities (Icon, Marvel, DC etc.) sell for 1500+ with a few anomalies
People do not enjoy lego fortnite
Especially the cosmetics being put behind a pay wall

That’s exactly what I was gonna say but mini battle versus are way more popular so they’re just doing that format. If it was a quest pack that was only available for a limited time like the level up pack people will be talking about how great the deal is. I’ve seen tons of people complaining they can’t get Chewbacca now because they don’t like Lego. He comes with it as soon as he purchase it so it’s not like it’s gonna take you longer to get him the quest would only take a couple maybe even less hours so one or two and it’s good to have if you ever do Lego imagine being a have some Lego homes instead of the generic

As someone who gets all their vbucks from StW I love all the mini passes. Gives me a lot to collect for good price.

The lego pass isn't for me but people will obviously buy it just like I'm 100% gonna buy the pass for rocket racing because I love cars but I know some people won't like that just like I don't like lego
my biggest regret in gaming was NOT being a STW Founder BUT I was so burnt out from COD Zombies I thought STW was just gonna become another COD Zombie to me :(
How long till they bump up crew price to include all future mini passes or some other bs
I mean the passes are not mandatory to do, they are a business at the end of the day who want to earn money to impress their share holders and investors with profit and player retention. If chewbacca was in the fortnite crew people would complain about it, since no crew pack skin has returned. And epic is not only doing this for monetary value but also to make people stop complaining that they are bored and have finished the br battlepass.
@@iaqh i mean some mini passes have come back to the shop, dbz and jujutsu kaisen (im sure theres others that have returned) it does suck that it is tied to a FOMO strategy but they are a business at the end of the day. At least he was not in the crew or even the br battlepass so a lot of people dont worry about missing him. Plus he is an iconic character who wasnt in a br battlepass, look at darth maul who came back later on in the year. They prob will bring chewie back whenever they do star wars events or collabs.

None of this stuff is exclusive to the pass. If you just want the chewbacca skin you can wait for it to come to the item shop, just don't be suprised if the price doesn't change that much without the lego buildings.

If you buy everything Star Wars related it’s 20,000 v bucks. And as for the “free stuff” in BR you gotta do 10 quests, rocket racing you gotta do 20 races 75 speed run laps and like 14 quests, festival you gotta do 7 quests, and Lego you have to collect 11,000 studs.

Its kinda sad how they are trying to make battle royale the same level as the other 3 modes. This star wars update was supposed to be the biggest one of all star wars updates, but i dont feel like its the case, because we won't get as much stuff in BR as in ch4 s2. 2 old star wars items will be unvaulted, and a new one, which is probably boring. Battle Royale should get more attention, because its the mode that people play the most.
To be honest, i think it only happened like that because of avatar collab. You know, this season mythics were here for like a month and then they took them away for a month, if they brought everything back frm ch4 s2 it would be either way too much things in the loot pool or they would throw away this whole season. But yeah either way i agree with you

People need to understand that this pass isn’t made for everyone. It’s the same reason the Festival pass is made for Festival players and not BR players.
They don’t expect most players to buy the seasonal mini-pass, festival pass, and LEGO pass. They expect most people to buy the pass for the mode they play most, which might be BR, festival, or LEGO.
The problem with these mini passes is that everything in it comes to item shop at some point which makes it less desirable. Make the stuff exclusive and we good
I dont think so, its something for somebody or everyone, billie fans, star wars fans, avatar fans, if somebody makes an issue with it then thats a personal issue and nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. The game is still free
Halo infinite & the finals do mini passes right. They offer complete sets, easy challenges, and plenty of time to do them. The price in fortnite is 20 dollars tops, then if you own crew and want other stuff they release, it stacks up money and time
Most of these mini passes are incredibly short and easy to do, so Time isn’t the issue but yeah price is definitely creeping up to be too expensive for most players who want to do them all, honestly the best way for them to fix this is to have them all included with Crew. Until then I would recommend just doing the ones that you like the most along with the Main Battle Pass then trying to do them all. (You could also alternate each season between the mini passes, which is what am going to start doing)
Also I’ve realised that this Star Wars event was teased by Donald Mustard 2 Years Ago, with him posting about Chewbacca and C3PO and in another post he was building a Lego AT-AT (New Emote called Lil AT-AT and C3PO Backbling have just been confirmed for tomorrow in Item Shop).
They can toss a lot of stuff at you, but eventually you will start to feel like I don’t wanna do any of this and then you stop playing anyway even though that was the point to keep playing but we need a break, otherwise will never return.
I dont mind this because there's no extra edit style you need to grind for like the billie black edit style . If there was an edit style people had to grind for thru Lego, then I see the issue with it.
I remember getting on daily for fortnite OG it was so fun all my friends came back to play it but now nobody is on the game anymore avatar was cool but it got boring quick I feel like they use events to make sure you keep playing through out the season while OG kept us playing base game without events or nothing fomo related

I think it’s worth it even if Chewbacca doesn’t have a back blink, I know they would have made some random one that does not look good at all to make it 1500 and as someone who doesn’t often play Lego I think it’s cool that I will have to have new stuff to build because I don’t want to buy a $20 Lego set

The nice thing about the mini pass is it also gives me an excuse to play the LEGO mode. I’ve barely touched it since release but at least now I have more of a reason to play it, to unlock the stuff from the pass
When the mini pass cost more than the battlepass is what pisses me off Nick.
Battlepass items never return and have been sold to at the same price for 6 years so people can see value in them. These passes can always return and are usually cheaper than the item when it returns to the shop so the value is not too bad
You’re getting Chewbacca and a Lego Set, you can skip this, it’s not the end of the world…
My main problem with the Lego pass is that pretty much nothing in there interests me. Its the most bland pass yet.
The mini-event passes to me are fine. The Festival passes are okay but they should def be lowered. The BR mini-passes have instruments in them too and you don't see those getting overpriced.
LEGO really doesn't need a mini-pass IMO and I think they did that purely for money. The build kits don't sell well so making a pass and locking Chewbacca behind it will for sure get them sales for the skin alone (not from me i refuse to get any lego build kit). Rocket Racing doesn't have on yet but considering how they already price cars I don't think it'd be worth it
Anyone think they will start giving us actual XP for Rocket Racing anytime soon ? I love the mode but you get 1000 XP per match, so about 80 Matches per Level

I like the LEGO Star Wars pass, because I do think it is a good deal especially looking at what's getting added to Lego Fortnite tomorrow. It genuinely sounds like there is going to be a really cool star wars update inside of Lego Fortnite tomorrow, so I'm gonna be playing that regardless. If I can get some cool star wars builds to go along with it, that's great!

I don’t see the issue. If like the skin that the mini pass offers and you would buy it from the store anyways than why not get the pass and earn the “free” stuff with it. You’re going to get that stuff with the time you play

More battle passes Less XP, make it impossible to get everything so that way people feel forced to buy the tiers. But what they're not taking into account is how many players they're gonna lose in the process.
Why are you mfs acting like you are forced to buy all the passes? If you buy it only for the skin them just don't grind for anything else.
The problem isn't price tag they problem is they are trying soo hard to shove people into Lego cause the skin will eventually come to shop for 1500 or so they could have done so much better with much better skins or rewards for it...they decided to put the mini pass for 1400 with buildings which people already think it's overpriced which they are right about
imo it's not overpriced, you get the skin instantly and a little bit cheaper since he clearly would've been 1500 and you're able to get some bonus stuff if you want to

For the crew pass, let's include a pass that is actually in the game, not the Rocket League pass.
We have so many battle passes in Fortnite now for all the modes as we are getting the Rebel Adventure Lego pass tomorrow so we will have a battle pass for BR, a mini event battle pass every season, the Festival pass, and now a Lego pass the battle pass for BR is less expensive than all the other passes with the mini event pass being 2nd and then Rocket Racing might get a pass in the future and then we will have more modes in the future which might give us even more passes so you're gonna have to spend loads of v-bucks if you want the battle pass for BR, the mini event pass, the Festival pass, the Lego pass, and if Rocket Racing gets a pass then a Rocket Racing pass not only that but if you want to buy all the tiers of those passes you will need to spend even more v-bucks the passes do contain really cool stuff though here is what all the passes contain the BR battle pass contains 7 skins on top of a bonus one, a few emotes, a few music packs, a few sprays, a few loading screens, and a few emoticons however now it also includes a few Jam tracks, last season's had a car, this season's has a few instruments, and Lego skins now the mini event pass has I think pretty much the same stuff however now it gives a free instrument and the mini event passes only have 2 skins instead of 8 and the Festival pass has a skin, I think a few emotes there were loads of emotes in the last Festival pass 1 or 2 were for Premium Reward Track and the rest were free, a few Jam tracks, a few instruments, a back bling, ,an aura I think it's called maybe it has few of them, and the current Festival pass has a spray I think and the Lego pass will have a skin, Lego decors, and Lego kits and the Rocket Racing pass if it ever gets one will most likely have cars, boosts, maybe a few emotes, maybe a music pack, maybe a skin, maybe a back bling, wheels, and decals
I honestly don't mind it, always up for new content. Its not a forced buy and you still get a good skin cheaper

I like the event passes and the festival passes because they give you stuff to use in BR but the lego pass is strictly decor (minus chewbaca)... which is so lame

While I like the sheer amount of mini-passes, this one in particular is not great due to it just being Lego sets. Even the festival pass has stuff like emotes and skin cosmetics so I don’t get why we couldn’t get non-Lego cosmetics outside of chewbakka (which sucks if you just want that skin and you don’t play Lego fortnite)

I'm someone who the past 4 years has been flirting with not playing for months on end pretty frequently, all these passes are just going to make that happen more often due to burning me out more
I expected the Chewie skin to be of an epic rarity (or I guess worth 1,500 V-Bucks) so paying 1,400 for the skin plus potentially getting other extra stuff for the Lego mode regardless of if you play it is cool. It does unfortunately make the game feel like I need to always play to progress through to the next level in a pass over just playing for fun. The Battle Pass at least is so long that levels almost sink to the back of your mind besides the daily quests or weekly quests. With these mini passes you always feel like you need to keep playing to the next level, which requires event-specific currency (in this case studs) that unlocks bit by bit every couple days, making it feel like you're better off waiting until all quests are out to unlock everything.
I'd rather they made them more like item shop quests where you unlock the skin instantly but get more stuff related to it like a back bling and pickaxe through in-game quests, though for this one they'd be the LEGO builds for the LEGO mode. Otherwise I'd rather the event passes be added to the crew subscription, or at least the passes for each mode (festival, LEGO, potentially racing) while the collab franchise-specific events stay where you need to purchase them for 1,000 V-Bucks.
Yea fortnite adding lot of things it is overwhelming
I feel like if they are adding more passes, they should make it way easier to get the stuff. While they are great value I don't want to feel overwhelmed with pressure which I think could devastate the game later on. The pressure causes players with not enough time to lose a lot of items and would discourage them from playing the game in general, not just the mode with the pass. It shouldn't take hours to grind, probably 2 hours max.

Half of the 1000vb Mini Pass consists of useless level up tokens. Lego and the Festival Pass don't have this crap. It feels like everyone in the community is stupid and just wants to get everything very cheap.
Half of the 950 vbuck pass contains useless cosmetics that dont appear in festival, rocket racing, or lego. Give me separate passes per game mode. And maybe reduce the tiers and/or include cross pass progression.
well those passes gives more more valuable items for 1,000 vbucks and i'll rather have battlepass lvl ups then useless garbage collecting dust for a game mode i don't even play.

Not only was the last Star Wars pass better than this one, it was still better than the tmnt and avatar. Yeah the clone troopers could’ve been edit styles, but we also got darth maul. This chapter we got two Angs and two shredders. At least we got different characters for the Star Wars one.
Imo I don’t like having to pay for Lego builds because it feels like they’re making you pay for gameplay features. I know it’s just cosmetic buildings but the point of legos is building stuff

See if you don't buy the pass for the skin or decor at some point in the future it will be in the item shop at a higher price that's what these passes are for.
Sure you need to play the game more and I do agree fortnite crew should at least give you something to help with these either a discounted price or crew only xp quest for stuff like these.
