About the Jeep Wrangler Platform Racks:
The Wrangler roof racks are much more than just two crossbars. It is an entire roof rack platform that you can customize and set up for whatever your Jeep will need. No drilling is needed! It mounts directly by securely clamping to the drip rails along the sides of your Jeep (JK models also use the rear window brackets)
The crossbars are T-Slot and U-Bolt accessible for all of your mounting needs. Add a roof tent, cargo box, awning, gas/water cans, etc. The sky is the limit with the versatility of these racks!
We have two different lengths available for both the Jeep Wrangler JK and the newer Jeep Wrangler JL:
Half Rack Platform:
Dimensions: 5ft3in x 4ft7in
Rack weight: 58lbs
Adds approximately 3in of overall height to your Jeep
Recommended Maximum Dynamic Weight Limit: 175lbs
Max Static Weight Limit: 600lbs
Works with Freedom Panels on 4-doors
Full Rack Platform:
Dimensions: 7ft3in x 4ft7in
Rack weight: 75lbs
Adds approximately 3in of overall height to your jeep

With the half rack installed on a 4 door JL, can the freedom panels be removed while keeping the rack on?
Yes, on the 4door you can keep the half rack on the vehicle and still remove the freedom panels

I like this, I like the Rhino rack but did not like the drilling into my top, I don't need inner support. like the platform style.
Yes, that was our exact same idea. We wanted full functionality without the headache! No body wants to drill into their Jeep, and no body wants to pay $3K for a Jeep Platform Rack. We are glad to be the Antidote to this dilema!
Is this can hold up a rooftop tent ?

how is the noise without the wind diffuser?
Will this work with sunrider soft top for jeep hardtop? Also, what is weight capacity for half rack?
We havent had the opportunity to outfit a jeep with that setup just yet. We would recommend using our high-clearance brackets to lift the rack higher off the roof to allow the softtop to fold back, but we have not fully tested this yet.
I'm trying to find other videos on your roof racks for jku and there is none. Did you guys discontinue? I do like that you dont need to drill.

Can you fit a Yakima skybox on it? Without modifications?
Yes definitely. The cross beams are 2.75in wide and only about an inch thick so the Yakima, Thule or our Antidote Cargo Boxes will all work
This rack can use on the sky one touch ? Add the 5inch base ?
We are working on figuring that out but it is expected that it will need the 5" high clearance brackets to work best. You can stay tuned via our website or instagram @AntidoteOutdoors
Just received my roof rack last night. I love this rack, Great price point for a modular rack, but worst instructions ever! I had to come here to see how the corners were bolted on. No where in the instructions did it say to use the square nuts. I guess that makes semse, but would have been nice to include that and better pictures in the instructions. Also, can I purchase t bolts for attachments in the future?

what type T-Bots are being used for the assembly?
We would tell you if we knew the exact type of T-bolt, we only know them as t-bolts. These are designed with a low-profile head to allow them to slide into the thinner T-tracks such as the ones on our Jeep Platform Roof Rack. are there mounting brackets for awnings for this type of rack?

Can this be used with the sky one touch (won’t open it)?
As long as the drip rails are accessible, yes it can be mounted. But we do not recommend opening it while installed of course.
What is the approximate weight for both the full and half racks?
the half rack on a 4 door is 175 dynamic lbs and the full rack on a 4 door is 225 dynamic lbs

Yes it can, it was designed to support roof top tents, we carry roof top tents as well

Is this compatible with the gladiator?
Hi yes, we have installed the shorter 5ft3 "half-racks" on a few gladiators and it turns out looking great. We also have heavy-duty bed racks for the gladiator

The full rack, no. The half rack, yes.
Will the half rack work on a 2 door with just 4 mounting points on a JK? Is this aluminum?
Yes it will. The 5th and 6th mounting pieces will not completely fit due to the longer hardtop portion in comparison to a 4D however they can still be seated about 2/3s the way into the drip rail. Reach out directly through the website if you have any more questions. AntidoteOutdoors.com/contact
What material is the roof rack made of?
The platform is aluminum and the mounting mechanisms are iron.
