Working has many benefits but dealing with office politics is not one of them.
The problem is we are often not aware of the situation until it’s too late or becomes a big deal.
People are motivated by different things and playing “the game” is not one for me. Being able to deal with office politics is not a one and done thing, rather a lifelong learning.
Being able to understand how people act, then you can react and put strategies in place to deal with them.

I’m an advisor, but not by choice, I can’t stand having to clean up others messes or do their work they should of already completed so sometimes I have to let our boss know. I still have to do everything myself it feels like I don’t care anymore everyone sucks

Do not be blind by the title - ok, but it is not so simple. Just remember, someone who has no title has no power, this person can not fire you, while someone who has will do it. There should be a balance. Sometimes it takes so much energy, that it is easier to find a job where someone with a title acts, makes decisions, communicates like they have this title. There are less manipulation and underwater streams and more health.

The only thing that I do not like is office politics because it deviates you from productivity and distract you from being laser focused. However. Positivity always works.
