advisor? or sales agent... know the difference
@@nanodesu9031 well, as a new in the industry. There are some terms that we have to take into consideration.. We call it 'Financial Advisor' cause..
a.there's the fiduciary duty.
b. Youre not only offering a pencil or any of the tangible products out there; it's an example of a financial / investment product.
c. Being an advisor could be a sales agent too however, we must take the client's perspective and from what they wanna achieve.. 'advising' them about their financial goals.
d. sharing and educating the people around you with this type of product isn't just a sales agent but an advisor. E.g. Personal Finance, Estate planning, education and retirement.
Laslty, there are licensure exams that a financial advisoe would take before calling themselves 'one'. Being a sales agent on the other hand, you dont need a license to sell something.
