- Time we took at look back at Batman: Arkham Asylum. With Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League coming out soon, I figured we'd look back at the game that put Rocksteady on the map, and changed how we look at Superhero games. Arkham Asylum is a classic.

Just played through these again myself recently. Still the best superhero games ever made, well at least the first two are.
I would have to say that Killer Croc is my favorite villain in the first asylum game, I’m a sucker for monster lizard men
I’ve always liked Croc as a villain and I felt bad for him on some level, yes he’s a monster and needs to be stopped but that condition of his is a curse and combined with his cruel treament by the rest of the world, it causes him to be animalistic! I’m a bit of a sucker for villains who have a layer of tragedy to them!
Man i remember playing Arkham Asylum when i was 13 years old. i was so hyped for the game (not to mention I had a ps3 so could play as the joker) and honestly i was not disappointed so far i waited the next game! Man i miss those days!
I rented this game and spent 48hour just playing it and beat the main story

Arkham Knight along with Doom 2016 were the peak of the western gaming industry, after that I tuned out. Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad are a joke by comparison.
As someone who got The Arkham remastered edition! These games nailed Batman!
This is the Rocksteady I want to remember. Not the modern shell of a company which has been ruined by WB and DEI politics. I doubt anyone who made this game is still with the company.
The Arkham Games are amazing. From some of the things I’ve been hearing about the new Suicide Squad game on Twitter, I think I’ll skip that game. Unless I hear anything from people saying that the game is truly excellent, I’m fine with just continuing to play the Arkham games.
Spoilers It’s not! It’s a massive step down from the previous ones and disrespectful to Arkham Batman,DC Comics,Kevin Conroy and Good Taste!

I just wish we would get a great Superman game. The cloest we got was the last chapter in the first Injustice game.
