  • What is up everybody and welcome back! Over the last year and a half with my Inozetek Green Mamba vinyl wrap, tons of people have asked me how like it. So in today's video, I decided I would make a video covering all the pros and cons that I have with my Inozetek vinyl wrap since it's been in the car for a while now. I also cover some different cleaning products that I recommend using to keep the vinyl looking glossy and preventing scratching. Thanks for watching and don't forget to Like, Comment, and Subscribe!

    great review and props on the camera work and angles to see the details and imperfections you mentioned. Have seen that Inozetek wrap has such a good finish (minimum orange peel) definitely looking to get my car wrapped! Good to see its durability as well! Its holding up very well, I'm impressed. Car looks fantastic man!

    Thanks for this!!! Was searching hard for a long term honest review of these super gloss vinyl wraps. My main apprehension to vinyl wrapping my car is how dull/orange peely regular vinyl wrap is. Looks cheap and more like plasti dip when viewed up close. And while the super glossy new wraps look enticing, the scratchability scares me. Not only do you have to be highly skilled when installing not to scratch it, but basically you have to baby the finish while you own the car and make sure you always clean it with proper materials. I believe the hazy spots are probably due to install error. From what I've been reading, this stuff is super sensitive to overstretching and you really have to know what you're doing or it'll lose its memory and haze up. Car still looks dope as hell. What an unexpectedly awesome color combo.

    Always didn't like the orange peel of vinyl wraps. Now this I might try. Thanks!

      It's definitely a great improvement over the typical 3M and Avery films. My car isn't polished nor ceramic coated, so it could still get better if I did those steps as well.

    It took me a while to figure out what model it was. Very unique. The wrap looks like paint.

    Would putting a clear PPF on top or a ceramic coating stop the scratches for someone who wants the wrap on for 2/3+ years?

    • @StanMisiano
      @StanMisiano  Před rokem

      Yes, this type of wrap can be buffed, corrected, and ceramic coated. I just never got the time to get it done myself unfortunately.

  • @ididntsaythat
    @ididntsaythat Před rokem +2

    That happened on the install forsure. Ive used inozetek its really easy to over stretched. Cause it's prestreched

    • @StanMisiano

      That's what I kind of figured. No biggie though, it is what it is.

  • @MadelnMachines

    Why did you have to get your car re-clear coated? Was this caused by vinyl wrap removal? Do the vinyl scratches / marks not heal with heat? What's the spray caled?

    • @StanMisiano
      @StanMisiano  Před rokem

      I'm my sure what you're referring to, but the car has never been reclear coated. I did do the carbon hood and trunk though because carbon parts come gel coated and that finish never last.

      Not really sure what you're trying to get at here, however what's stated in the video is very clear.

    • @TheNerdArmory
      @TheNerdArmory Před rokem +1

      @@StanMisiano Well, i understand that perhaps the video was a "mines still holding up" video but the main thing with vinyl as to whether or not its worth it is how it comes off and if it doesn't do damage. How it holds up underneath.
      I wrongfully expected it to be a vid taking it off to determine if it was worth it in that regard because that matters the most. Idk how long this was on your car but if it's been over 3 years, i'd be very scared to remove it without paint damage. Unless ofc it's amazing but calendar vinyl is notorious for it and I was trying to find that info on youtube :P
      Absolutely sweet ride btw. I have a 370z and wish i could deck it out as beautiful as yours.

    • @StanMisiano
      @StanMisiano  Před rokem +1

      The video was extremely clear on the what it was about. Not my fault you had a false inclination going into watching the video. The vinyl is still on my car and I'm not worried about it at all. I have already taken off a few pieces in the most delicate of areas without a single issue. There's even a clip of it in another video if you would like to keep watching the channel's videos. Also, I've had a wrap on my car previously for 5 years, came off without a single issue.
      When issues arise, it's usually do to user error and not the product itself. KPMF, for example, is notoriously hard to remove and leaves residue. However, taking the correct steps to remove it which is applying heat, will completely avoid the issue. If you incorrectly remove it and do not use heat and KPMF leaves residue, you can not blame KPMF for your mistake.
