Really really helpful thank you. I work in construction and like many in the industry use spread sheets competently but always shy away from using word for more than a simple letter. feel more confident about writing my next O&M manual now!

OMG Where have you been all my life?!?!!? I only recently discovered that this function existed through a friend and he'd not had the time to show me. Thank you so much for this. Been applying this my office's templates and my boss loves it, makes everything so much easier.
Certainly helped me out a bunch. I am using this for contract formatting, which has many more than 3 heading levels and I do not want to show every sub-heading in the TOC. There is an option that Dr. Clark got me to where you can choose a custom TOC where you can choose the levels to display. I only wanted Heading levels 1 & 2 to keep the TOC from being 5 pages long. IT WORKED thanks to this vidoe...!

Hi, Thank you very much Sir. This is the exact tutorial that I was looking for. I just have one problem. At time 7:00, you have mentioned to select multilevel list for chapter 1 (heading 1) and all other selections will be changed automatically. However, in my case, it is only changing chapter 1 (i.e. heading 1) but all other headings remain same. Do you have any idea what is the problem might be or what should I do in this case? Thank you.

Thank you! This was extremely helpful. I do have one question. Can you adjust the ...... between the headings in the table of contents and the numbers at the end. Ex:
2 Heading ............................................................................. 1
but have it set so that after each word the spacing is a normal tab of 10 spaces and 10 spaces before the page number consistently? Again thank you for the clear video I had no idea about this feature!
