My C&P examiner didn’t even use a goniometer for the range of motion test.

Call up the VA and let them know you didn't get that test during your C&P exam. Also, when you go to your exam make sure you can easily reference your service and medical records. It is very important to have an evidence-based claim. If you are not diagnosed with the condition and not getting treated for it you will more than likely get denied. If that happens you can get a higher lever review. Make sure you look over your denial letter to see why you were denied. Look over the 38 CFR ( www.benefits.va.gov/warms/bookc.asp ) This will give you an idea on how to move forward. Also keep in mind that you may have secondary conditions that you also can claim.
