Thanks homeworthy for showing us something different. I'm rather fed up with watching those expensive houses that look staged for magazines and don't look at all cosy or comfortable for a family.
I'm drawn to quirky houses too - to a degree. I love courage in decorating. Everyone is in a different place as far as what decor they find livable. Seeing different levels of "perfection" vs. "quirky" vs. "controlled chaos" can be a tool to learn about ourselves.
How about the “maximalist” decorating? Hoarders is what I call them. They are claustrophobic.
I love the house. I like the antique furniture. A bit crowded for my taste.

So true and I have such disdain for those yuppies that paint antiques or original beamed ceilings with old dark wood patina white or use Chinese gray that is being pushed on the American market in the home, UGH! OH, and they are all designers.... how many designers are needed? it is frustrating to see affluent wives that are all 'designers'...
I love this & I get it!!! What a boring world it would be if we all had the same taste in decor! Do what WE love!
So true. I think one of the coolest things is to visit someone who has a house style that is well-done, but we'd never want for ourselves ... just to get a chance to enjoy that other style without having to commit to it.
I don't like too much red in Christmas decor, but I once saw a Christmas tree on Instagram decorated ONLY in red. It was beautiful. I could sit and look at that Christmas tree and soak it in with, even though it's not for me to live with.

Gorgeous! Yes, I agree that this is a refreshing change from the usual videos. I really do prefer the smaller and more cozy and unique homes, apartments, cottages.
What joy! "Faded grandeur." I love it. ( That striped fabric on the daybed in the livingroom is chic as heck, and made even more so by all that other texture and pattern and color joining it in there ). Gorgeous , soulful, setting and context. The place *breathes and engages. and does it with a big grin. What a launch pad for children, and anyone vibrantly alive.
I love how she respected the architectural tradition from Mallorca's houses. How she kept the kitchen and the beams, and then add her personal style on the decor instead of redoing the house to a more modern thing. I really love every detail

Counter productive to keep the "products" list on screen that you are trying to watch the tour. Why not have product list in description below. It's so annoying and hard to watch. I try to dismiss and it keeps popping up. Finally I quit watching
