  • Budget Duck Hunting is here!!!! I just started hunting ducks this year, and wanted to make sure that I did it in the most affordable way possible. I'm trying to find a way to buy everything I need for hunting under $500. Pulled some inspiration from BobbyGuyFilms channel where he did a similar jerk rig to this one. It works great, super light weight, very packable, and most of all CHEAP!!!!!
Check out his jerk rig video here: • HOW TO MAKE A JERK RIG...

Cut pvc at 4ft, a 45 degree angle on one end, 90 on the other, drill a 1/4" hole half inch from the end, keep your baitcast reel with 80lb test rigged with a big ass swivel on the terminal end.if water is shallow, stick it into the mud at an angle. Clip decoys onto your line as you set. Once youre done, pull hard and your anchor comes up, along with all your decoys(a dozen). Once back to the blind, unclip your deeks, then unclip line from your pvc anchor.Nice and compact

in stead of cutting the pipes shorter, just stick them into the mud diaginally, also can add a j-hook half way down the pipe to wind the cordage during transport

Best budget jerk rig hack: old baitcast reel with 80lb test. Anchor with a length of pvc

If your putting the poles just under the water could add a decoy at the top of each pole which would hide any movement from the poles.

You don't like a little more movement for the jerk rig?

Good video! Gives me an idea to use 2 pvc pipes and have some decoys going left and right with other decoys coming towards me!

This video is pretty helpful but as a Hispanic male I don't like the way you annunciate the word beaner. That's all.
