The context of this concert was Aurora trying to reach out to her fans during the height of lockdown to comfort them and let them know it was going to be okay. With social distancing it was bare minimum crew, the band and the manican audience. She seemed like a voice from the darkness of those days and brought hope to many by simply being her lovely self, Wonderful.
You speak the truth, my friend. The whole concert is a performance art piece about isolation and breaking said isolation during peak lockdown.
@@glacieractivity She really became a light in those dark times. And whether she realized it or not, her falling on her butt in the finale made laughter the best medicine. She is always exceptional in her craft and humanity.

It is one the best performances I have seen, the combination of the lyrics, the music, Aurora, the mannequins, how the mannequins symbolize all of us and and each and everyone of us. I am in awe! Great reaction. thank you! 🙂
I gotta say, I drop a tear or two every time I watch this performance, without fail. This song in particular, it feels so welcoming. It's an invitation to be better, regardless of the prior experiences, the flaws in man-made matters, that may have shaped one's perspective away from what I think Aurora would say is the purer form of our humanity, that which is imbued with generosity, grace, and kindness. "But you are pure, and we have to get you out of here" I interpret to mean that Aurora believes that this purer form of humanity still exists within us, and she's just trying to get us out of our own heads enough to see it.
That's what I get from this song anyway. I think its a beautiful thing to encourage, and I can't think of anyone better than Aurora to inspire it.

lol....that cracks me up every time. And yeah, that was pretty much my reaction too. That was such an inspired moment...having her reach her hand like that, and then the lights hard dim. It feels almost like an invitation to a psychedelic journey. Scary but exciting....and knowing you're in gentle loving hands....
You picked a great live performance. This is my favorite. So emotional. This young lady is walking Art. Love Aurora. And this is one of my favorite songs from her older stuff.

Great reaction. If you were wondering, the parts where is sounds like she’s singing in another language (omega hai foleet…) is a language Aurora created simply to convey emotion.

Ps. Not sure but I did not put this song so high on my ranking like some other but after I saw this performance again I wonder why as it is just great. But it always with Aurora, that when I want to rank her songs (and put them in tier) then if I listen a song (after preliminary ranking) I want to put this song higher in ranking. And on the end I just give up as so many songs end it top tier anyway and ranking does not make sense anymore ;)).
This song is one of my absolute fav's by AURoRA. It is one of the most touching of her songs. It speaks directly to my 💗and soul💖✨✨

When I was a kid, I used to lay on the frozen pond below our house, and I look at the stars and Auroras and wish for someone to come and take me home...or at least visit.👽👽

This song makes me cry everytime. The amount of times I felt like I’m an alien that doesn’t belong here is astronomical. So this song feels like it’s a confirmation, that I’m not the problem, that I’m perfect just the way I am and that it’s the world that is not made for me. In my opinion the mannequin is used as a blank slate so that we can imagine it’s us, getting comforted by her.

What a refreshing reaction to this Aurora song. Most do not believe, understand or know about the metaphysical times we are in. I have seen "things" for many years but it has only been increasing this past year and a half. The amount of pictures and videos I have taken on the "things" I have seen is ridiculous. When I first watched this performance I could quite literally feel pressure above my brow (third eye chakra) when she reached her hand out to the camera after touching her forehead. It felt like someone literally put their thumb on my forehead and was pressing gently. Which really fascinates me.. and I had the same reaction that you did lol.. because usually only I can stimulate my third eye chakra in such a way, with the pressure and all that, through meditation and things that are like meditation. Other times it has been spontaneous followed by a feeling of awakening. Anyway, she just sent that through the screen. Timeless. I always said she must be a healer. Like a real healer. Because I am changed because of her music. But now I’m sold on it.

One of my favorite passtimes is to watch people react to Aurora's person and to her music aswell; but never have I found someone who is so passionate about trully feeling and understanding what its all about as you are. Think about her murder ballad. Its not the same meaning, but its very sad and dark.
Its about deliverence.. a sick and dying human being taken away by some higher power.
And in the end, its actuall the thoughts and prayer from that sick person we hear... how truly heartbreaking.

Yes, In Boxes is one of my favorites, and definitely a different side of Aurora.
I think she is wired up differently. Not only from seeing her on CZcams and in concert but I was luck enough to spend a short time in her company. She sees the world and people in a non "normal" way. A child like approach but with a razor sharp mind.
What is "Normal" anyway? We are all normal to ourselves. Having no "mind's eye" and not being able to think in pictures, is normal to me. I sort of appreciate how nice it would be to "see" a loved one or favourite place, in my head but it is not in my make up.

Aurora is everything good in this world and Yolandi...well, if the allegations towards her and Ninja are right, is quite the opposite. So even surface level comparison feels wrong. I think Auroras aestethic is influenced by her nordic culture, anime and mythology...

Aurora is used to negative reactions for her style, and couldn't care less. In my opinion it's a smart way to weed out people who only like artists if they look perfect and "normal". Aka - shallow people.
I'm not offended, I just found it funny. But if someone love an artist, I think it's natural for many to get "offended" if the comparison is... well offending. lol
