Just got the s2 mk3 after years of having a broken s2 mk1 (10 years haha) and a kontrol f1. Loving the controllers together, especially the sequencer they now have on the f1. This video was super helpfull for me. I'm just an amateur, never played a gig but i'm building that confidence more than ever. Subscribed
Traktor should honestly make this video pop up when you plug in your controller for the first time. WELL DONE SIR. This answered so many frustrating questions for me! I was considering taking it back, but after seeing these simple changes...I'll give it another shot! Thank you

Just bought an s2 mk3 and an F1 after watching your vids. This one was fantastic, thank you so much! I also noted you are using aggregate audio and i was very happy to see this as i already have a small studio with ableton through a NI KA6 and was wondering if it would be possible to bypass the internal audio of the S2. I can't believe it! This is amazing that i can now actually properly integrate it into my setup for near limitless possibilities! Any chance of a basic vid explaining your routing setup? I would really love to be able to have all my hear running audio into my KA6. A tutorial on Traktor w/ ableton would be awesome too! Thanks so much again, much gratitude!

I’m having trouble with missing artwork, all artwork is shown from older traktor versions, but new artwork is missing with the current version. I’m using iTunes but don’t have this issue with band camp downloads/imports or other site like soundcloud.. artwork is shown in iTunes but not transferring into trackor..any ideas where I’m going wrong? Thanks

Can u give some instructions how to change the audio midi Setup (OSX Catalina) if I use the S3 as an Audio Interface?
I cannot change the Signal for the mic (within Traktor it is fine) e.g. with Quicktime I almost have no signal.

But I have one question. At 43'28 your are choosing between many remix/ loops I guess (by the way loved the ones you choose aha) and you said we can find those free on native instruments but I couldn't find those anywhere. So if you see this can you or anyone else tell me where I can downloads those loops ? Cause I really want to learn how to mix on 4 decks like you did.

Can u explain how to assig effect to pads. I use traktor s3. I get to assign but the effect stays off when i press the pad
You said with the keylock function that the speed is locked. This function is for the lock of the pitch / pitch.... Song titles can therefore tolerate +15% pitch and keep their dynamic. If you tick the settings and play title x with key 1m on deck a, Traktor will show you colored key hits in your Trakor browser....these titles harmonize with each other.... I wish you all the best for the future
Hey amazing video and useful set up support.. better than traktor! Can I ask? really need advise for using a MIC in my kontroller s2 mk3.... and want to broadcast my DJ mix through MXLR.... using a shared audio stream. No function to use the MIC... anyone know this set up. Much appreciated.
question.. hope you can answer is the sound card on the s2 mk3 really bad? I tried it two weeks ago on a club and the sound was son bad, volume wise not loud enough. cod you know how I can fix this?

Just got this and I am using the new m1 Mac But something about the scratching feels off. It’s like it’s not a one to one connection when I back scratch I have to pull back slightly Further and that throws me off...But went in MIDI move it works fine with other software I am wondering if it’s just the calibration with tractor

Hi, if it can help a little? When I switch to four deck and into A put some beat a in C NI percusion remix sets, I squeeze sync on both channels but they don't work well, they are out of sync.I can't find out fhy?I have Traktor S2 MK3 controller.Thanx!

Hi, anyone know how to change the Move value on traktor 3 pro using an S2 ... it defaults to beat jumping 4beats only when using the MOVE knob , id like it to just by 32 beats .. Thanks in advance
A bit late, but if you change loop size with the right side knob it changes how much you jump
Hi I can't get the sound working on my s2 mk3
I bought the Tracktor s2 mk3 controller for about 2 years ago and now, no matter what I try, it turns on and displays a lot of fine lights when I plug it into the USB on my computer, then right away turns off and goes dead. Can anyone help please? 🙏

having trouble connecting an xlr mic to traktor pro 3 s3
I have a question, how can i make a song not jump to high bpm when using the sync button, lets say like Deck A is playing 140BPM and deck B is playing 70 BPM, in theory they are synced because its just 2x the tempo but i do use the sync to match the beat initially and then trim it when it does not match
For me the 70BPM track when pressing the sync jumps to 140BPM and making it really fast and i would not like that to do that.

I don't think there's any special settings for this. Just turn off the sync when u loading a big difference bpm song.
Try using the /2 option under grid for the 140 bpm. That might work
@52:50 Get the Roland Go Mixer. Small portable mixer you can use to do it in seconds! wayyyyy faster than his method!

DAVE Digital and Vinyl Expert yes but you will will sound wayyy more professional. It’s $99 well spent. Plus you already spent money getting your controller. Might as well sound good and set up faster. Also you can monitor your mix and be portable!

@14:25 You can use "take over mode". That would solve that problem

Should just come on when you launch the Traktor app, mate. It powers through the USB link to your computer.
The leds do come on on startup but then go into power saving mode so lights dim and no deck lights and battery light flashes with the power cable attached, is there any way to adjust brightness ,thanks for your response it’s appreciated

Good video, but chopping that 3ish minute “waiting to stream” would be my only suggestion.
Under audio setup I noticed you don't have audio for monitor or record. This means that if you plug a headset into the earphone jack there will be no sound. Additionally, with audio setup for record you will not be able to record your mix. Why would you not have these features set, better yet why would not even explain this in the video to the viewers?
As a sound engineer, your plosives are killing me. Use a pop shield.
The latency i see between you speaking and hearing the audio is actually to high to see you speak even if its a fraction of a second, its like watching a Chinese overdubbed movie , weird
