    Thank you for making this video! I recently bought a one-year old TUDOR Black Bay GMT; and the jeweler gave me three extra links. He installed one link and set the TUDOR “micro-adjustment” to the largest of the three positions. This made the bracelet fit a tad too tightly by the late afternoon. I inserted one link into the bracelet; but, that made the bracelet too loose. Watching your video enabled me to understand how the “micro-adjustments” are made. Now I have a perfectly-fitting bracelet. Thanks!

    Thank you so much for this very helpful video.
    I needed to resize my Tudor Pelagos LHD and within minutes following your instructions, it was done and back on my wrist, saving me over 2 hours travel to my nearest jewellers.

    Hey,
    Just picked up one of these original 41mm. Its a tad large for my tiny wrist and like you said. Its awesome to see someone walk through the process even if you have a good idea. I never knew these were screws!!! That makes the whole thing alot easier!! Save me some money and a trip to the jewelry store.

    Thanks so much! I've had my bb58 for 3 years now and never got the sizing right as I got fed up going back and forth to my jewelers. Now I'm confident enough to do it myself I've managed to get a perfect fit after a bit of trial and error.
    Thanks again!

    Man youtube has literally everything you need. Bought a Black Bay chrono S&G recently spent $30 getting the bracelet adjusted but it was still a little lose (it is winter and watches/rings etc are loser than summer). Looking at micro adjustment but paranoid to try to figure out how to move, maybe needs a special tool?? A simple tooth pick and this great tutorial and now fits just that little snugger and more comfortable. THANK YOU Hoboken Horology. CHEERS and

    Just got a Black Bay 41 today and it’s too big. Great advice about screwing a screw too far. My issue now is where to remove a link from? I’m thinking one from each side since it’s currently sized for a 7.75 inch wrist and I am a 7.25 inch wrist.

  • @robprescott7492
    @robprescott7492 Před 3 lety +2

    This really is quite easy. I used a 1mm tip jeweller's screwdriver. Make sure you push the screw through the link before you use it as this will tell you which end is which (one is threaded). One end is smaller than the other, the thread end is the smaller one. Don't over tighten, the screw should fit flush. Enjoy saving money over paying a jeweller to do this. It's a five minute job.

    Screw pins & push pins are pretty easy once you've done it a couple of times, split pins were ok for me to resize although you have to be more careful, rolled links a nightmare and WORST of all pin and collar rivit style bracelet half done on one now and already drawn blood three times.

    Is it not a good idea to use a bit of Loctite?
    It is pretty easy for these screws to work loose after a while if not.

      Anyone know what size of screwdriver I need to use on a Tudor Black Bay 36 bracelet screws? Do I really need to remove the bracelet from the watch before I heat up to soften the loctite? Is it best to use a hollow ground screwdriver head? Many thanks in advance

  • @jonirwin7316
    @jonirwin7316 Před 5 měsíci

    Micro adjustments are not "on the fly". Also, the 6 o'clock side should always have more links than the 12 o'clock side. Keeps the clasp off a table top a little better. PLEASE, put a micro cloth on the blue block to prevent scratches on the bracelet.
