Wow! Liam is 2 already? Time flies by quickly. He's a handsome little fella. I miss when my boys were that little. Awesome video Tyler.
Tyler you should have a look at getting a 360 camera. Like the insta360 or something similar. That way you can mount the camera in the car with a suction cup mount and film both yourself and the surroundings. Might help with the drivability while filming. Never had one myself but I believe you edit the angle as part of post production so you have control on whats in view. Anyway just a suggestion.

Doesn't aging wheels do something like that? Good idea but in his videos i feel like the image gets a bit wonky and stretched out in places.
There’s a stick mount you can use anywhere on the car. The stick is electronically removed from the images it takes. Pretty cool.
It was great to see the Q&A at the end. Liam is adorable and it’s nice to have a little detour from things once in a while. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.

Loved the view of the vent window on the Corvette. I locked the keys to my 65 convertible while away from home at a quarter car wash. This was in 1967. I finally decided to break a side window but had no luck. I took a couple of whacks at that vent window which ended up breaking the hinge. This allowed me to get my hand in the car and turn the lock to open the door. After that I never used the vent window as it closed nicely. Wow, great video with your son Tyler! I taught my son all about cars starting at about age 2. I will never forget when we pulled up to his daycare one morning (when he was around 3) and I took him out of his carseat. A lady next to me had just stepped out of her Firebird. When my son saw it he called it out correctly. The lady looked at me in shock and said, "Did he just say Firebird?!" She was blown away.

What a great variety of content for this video! Going for a drive in the beautiful classic corvette to the wizards shop to pay a bill, a surprise appearance by the Car Ninja, going for a drive in a really cool classic BMW and a Q&A with surprise appearance from Liam.

Love hearing the life update. Couldn't be happier for all of the success you're seeing Tyler!
Not a car comment. As a father of 4 beautiful children it was heartwarming to watch Hoovie be a dad to Liam. The ultimate sacrifice, letting your 2 yo use you as a race track. Liam drops a car, dad puts him down then picks him up again, even if he was getting a bit heavy. Then he flys Liam around which makes him smile.
Liam is lucky to have a dad who clearly loves him.

Tyler " Hoovie "you are actually a very inspirational guy and seeing you are a good father too is even more awesome. Please continue making these excellent vids.
Auto custom sound makes stereo’s that will fit your vette without cutting or drilling any holes, the heater not working is going to be the cable if it blows and just doesn’t get hot, if it doesn’t blow then it’s most likely the switch or fan motor and good luck keeping that e-brake working, cable stretch is a known problem on Vettes of that year. I restored Vettes for 30 years until my wife became a quadriplegic and had to sell my business to take care of her so if you’ve got any vette questions I’d be glad to help.
Hey Hoove, love your videos. I don’t think it’s what you say as the dumbest channel. It’s very informative. I’am sure you know about the Hemi Daytona that went for $2M plus on the auction last weekend. Your Superbird just gained some equity!
I hope you install a coolant recovery system on the Corvette rather than just a catch can. Wizard knows this of course, but for the coolant recovery function to work you'll need a radiator cap with two seal gaskets, not just one. :)
The Trick with old systems was not to fill it to the top, leave some space for expansion most old systems had a hose so at least the overflow would neatly run out the bottom not piss coolant everywhere. Yes, I'm an old guy who used to work the driveway at an old school gas station.

Man I loved the E30! I had an 87 325. Not an e, i, ix, is or M, just a plain old 325. What that really meant was that is was a really stripped 325e. I miss that car. Back when a BMW really was "The Ultimate Driving Machine". Such a blast to drive, great on trips.
14:18 What you need sir, is a Mitsubishi Starion.. or really any of the Diamond star cars... The single least reliable vehicle I've ever owned, and that was more than 20 years ago. I doubt they are doing much better today.
I sold Starion/Conquests when they were new. I took a new Intercooled model off the truck, plastic still on the seats....drove out to Stone Mountain, banged a Shoney's waitress on the hood, then took it up to 143mph back to work, tossed the keys to the detailers who cleaned all the wrurd Japanese cosmoline off of it; prepped it, parked it on the showroom floor. Made me grin every time I walked past it. Once those Intercooled models showed up they were rock solid and 1,000% reliable. If you were having problems, yours has been messed with. Stock they were indestructible.
@@Bigsky1991 The engine and transmission were fine. Clutch master cylinder, turbo coolant line, torquetube splines, randomly sticking rear brake calipers, headlight switch, turbo bearings and cracked housing were super common (mine had both)... There were other issues Im not going to blame the car for, even though, yeah it probably deserves the blame. I didn't own it long but I spent a lot of time replacing parts. MITSUBISHI: "Wake up and fix your car." I have no doubt they were fine new off the lot but it's safe to say they aren't known for reliability.
Do you have to worry about flat spots or damage to the the tires if you let it sit that long?
IMO there's a lot more drama around tires these days than there needs to be. Just keep them inflated and out of the sun, and you're fine.
They may feel a bit lumpy when he starts out, but 5 minutes of driving and getting some heat into them will take care of that.
The calibrated flat spots were precisely cancelling out the previous vibration.
I mean you dont have to, though you probably should ;)
12:39 Such precious bonding moments!
I remembered being young, and my Dad only driving classic cars in the 90's, showing me the movies Bullitt, Gone in 60 seconds (the original), the first Fast and the Furious when it came out in theaters, and pretty much anything else with a chase scene and muscle cars before I was even 10. Freeway on ramps were essentially treated as 1/8 miles, loud Flowmaster dual exhausts were Mandatory. Something about those specific things put together were a recipe to cause me to want a muscle car more then anything by the time I was 12. Then I got one by the time I was 20 and I found out they were terrible and I got an e36 instead. The end.
How many were waiting for one of the toy cars to fly out of Tyler's son's hand and hit a Lambo?
I still think that 427 sounds really lazy.
If it was me I would have put a 427 3 Barrel with juiced-up internals to get about 650hp out of it. Also put side pipes on it. It's a restomod anyway and why not beef it up a little. Also larger tires and Cragar mags. This is one of my all-time favorite cars so I take it personal.
Love the tripod cameo in the angle shot lol! Eagerly await your videos, thanks again!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Beck comes back for a head gasket repair.. it’s very common for the Subaru 2.5 to have an external head gasket failure that leaks oil onto the exhaust. Pretty much every 07-10 ish I’ve ever had, needed head gaskets for that issue. The earlier ones also had HG issues but those put coolant into the combustion chamber causing overheating.
So... The Wizard installed the engine and cooling system, but no overflow? Could it be that this one IS the Wizard's fault?
Nope. It isnt
