INGREDIENTS:
For Curry -
Water - ½ cup
Tomato diced - 5 cups
Onion sliced - ½ cup
Garlic cloves - 8 no
Ginger - 1 small piece
Bay leaf - 1no
Black cardamom - 1no
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Cardamom - 3no
Cloves - 3 no
Green chillies - 1-2 nos
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts - 12nos
Salt - to taste
On Pan -
Butter - 2 tbsp
Ginger chopped - ½ tbsp
Green chilli - 1 no
Paneer cubes - 2 cups
Salt - to taste
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dried Fenugreek (methi) leaves - ½ tsp
Sugar - 1-2 tsp (optional)
Cream - 3-4 tbsp

Can we skip the cream , will it create a huge diffrnce
@@captainphoenix5687 you can skip cream but cream brings life to this dish.. however, the gravy already becomes very creamy due to cashew so you can skip it

Prepared it today and had it with Paratha with family. My 10 year old son licked his plate clean. It was that tasty. Though I replaced good amount of butter with a mix of white oil and butter. And also used yogurt instead of cream. It was delicious. Thank you so much Chef Kunal for this awesome recipe. You were so right when you said not to try anything else but this recipe for delicious paneer❤️

I shared this recipe with my school friends (all girls school) who are staying all across the globe. Few started making n they posted pic on our grp. We hv renamed it to LVGA paneer. Thnx a lot for this recipe. Also once my son made it by himself n i shared this too in other grps saying that its easy and tasty n few men hv also tried it successfully.

Thank you for the recipe. It turned out to be excellent. I substituted cream for ' full fat milk + yogurt 'and it turned out the same.
Though I think a Warning about "the hot contents of the blender exploding out if not cooled" Is very much needed.

Just ordered a Makhani Masala and had to see what it's like, can't wait, looks amazing.
I made paneer makhani today by exactly following this recipe. The taste was good but few pointers here which should be taken care of:
1) Saute gravy and then add Paneer pieces as then they won't break and become rabadi
2) Don't add ginger pieces in butter with Paneer as we are not using mixer blender post this step and you will find ginger pieces in mouth while eating
3) Initially while cooking tomatoes, onion for 20-25 mins, keep checking in between and add water so that they don't get stick to vessel
4) Let the mixture completely cool down and then only put in blender
5) You can try adding condensed milk in the end to get slightly sweet taste

@@Ava-xu5ok the expensive ones are just fancy and overrated, food tastes similar in all of them. If you're willing to put the time and effort -Homemade is best. Far more hygienic, and just as tasty if you get it right.
