They axed everything that didn’t directly make them more money. Next years games are just going to include their Venmo link if you want to pay them more money without the disappointment that comes with expecting something in return.

Makes me sad that we had so much more in Madden 15+ years ago than we do now. Ea has just destroyed this game
Part of it is EA's fault, and part of it is the NFL's fault. The NFL has made a lot of demands about things being removed from Madden. The most famous example is the ambulance.
I remember playing 06 and 08 as a kid, thinking the future of Madden games was gonna be like this but on a grand scale LMAO oh how a boy can dream

People tend to romanticize the past. If you’re that passionate, voice your concerns to EA. Get enough people and you’ll accomplish your goal
Would love to see another run at a franchise series, but on an older game like this
he doesnt stick to series anymore.. 3 or 4 episodes and on to the next because views dont stay up for long series on youtube

@@Rhapbus1 that’s ultimately why his channel is stagnant or dying. Just get over the starry eye YT shit and just cater to your audience. Just realize what your core is and do what you like. I know he can’t have 80 episode long series on NCAA or Madden. Honestly he might need to scale back cause it sounds like he is banking on YT to fund his lifestyle with his whole move to NY and didn’t realize how quickly you can stagnate or die on here and is just scrambling to find something that captures a bigger audience.

The fact that busters pigment didn't transfer through the save file is hilarious to me.
I think it's because he chose white parents at the beginning of the superstar mode but yeah. People would be confused as Buster walks out onto the stage after getting drafted being a completely different race.

This NCAA to NFL Superstar that they did for a few years is the thing that I miss the most. It felt so cool to play my college football career and then transfer over to the NFL. Ahh I miss it.

Hey NTE, I commented this once before but you may not have seen it. Games on PS2 (with a few rare exceptions) are designed to run at a 4:3 aspect ratio, while modern screens are 16:9 (widescreen). This means that when you record directly off an emulator, the image is stretched out to the sides a little bit. You can see it at 0:07 where the EA sports logo is not a circle, or at 9:35 you can see that the team logos in the top left are stretched out. It should be pretty easy to fix it either in your emulator settings or by your editor in post. Many old Maddens even supported it in the video settings if you look there. But at the end of the day, it's not that big of a deal. Keep up the good work!

I totally forgot about this! The infamous “vision cone.” I did a superstar as a receiver on this game. Dominated lol. These games were just built different. Also, I was talking a swig of coffee when you said, “that explains why TD’s in my DMs” and I laughed… needless to say, I spit out some coffee 😂
Love how these older games are just so much more entertaining than the current state of Madden. Just goes to show how bad they've gotten. Hopefully people stop buying their game so they can bring back some of these options.

Love this game and this mode, i had a kicker that was the only person who scored all season. And when i would do the kickoff i was so fast i would also be the first guy to tackle the kick returner, played for the op falcons team.

Man, I had no idea that the old Madden franchise mode had all kind of random things to do... like star in a western movie set in the 1830's!
One time like 15 years ago I rented this game from Blockbuster and I randomly generated a QB who's dad was a Hall of Fame QB and mom was an Olympic Sprinter. Dude had like 97 throw power and 94 speed.
