- Just wanted to show you a luxurious SUV that is a full EV, the Hongqi E-HS9. There are cool things inside that makes it look premium like the single panel that spans from one end to the other housing the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The ambient lighting inside is impressive as well. I just wish it were more affordable.

There are going to be a lot of people in the comments that are going to hate this, but I would buy or lease this vehicle if it were in United States.

Last month my dad bought one , nothing to say its definitely an elegant suv , well crafted in every details , pretty impressive in and out though , two chinese characters on the back door isn't a big deal ..

@@NotAProDrayber I've been driving my flagship model (6 seats) for 15 months now in Norwegian weather, and I've never been happier with a car. I have 3 kids in booster seats, and still lots of room left for luggage. My only gripe with the car so far is the software. It's slow and very limited, especially compared to Tesla. In the winter cold the range is limited a fair bit, but that's expected from all EVs. However, this car gets VERY limited when putting on a ski box. With a ski box in winter, the range is probably around 50% of full range. Other than these things, I'm still amazed at how well the car drives. And it doesn't really feel as big as it looks from the outside, so you're not intimidated when driving it.

@@0613kelvin Of you use a normal plug, about 72 hours (from zero to full 468 km). If you have a home charger, about 12 hours, and with a lightning charger, about 1 hour.

I was just in the dealer in Amman Jordan. It isn't not nearly as impressive in person. It has presence. But inside its not even close. The seats will not fit most americans butts and shoulders. which is strange because there is a ton of room inside. The lighting on the doors looks super cheap. The metal pedals looks ridiculous. The steering wheel is nothing special. The inside and outside don't match. Maybe the next effort will be a big step forward. I have seen a couple on the road here. We also sat in the H7? sedan. Sort of bmw 5 size. looked like an old lexus outside. Felt like an old camry inside.

A horrible design for an ugly too big vehicle.I have seen it in person and it is too big .I don’t know what the Chinese had in mind when building it .I would keep away from Chinese EVs because they are only tested on tracks and not in the real world.I have seen videos of burning and exploding EV’s in China .It is horrible sight .Never buy a Chinese EV before you have how they run after some years .In China it is all about quantity and not quality !
