Nelson started fast, but seemed to be worn down and rendered ineffective by Fenech's swarming attacks and dogged perseverance. Looked close to being stopped in final round. Draw decision very controversial. Nelson later claimed that he had fought the bout days after another bout--with malaria. Boxrec

Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use
    Fair use
Additionally, the fair use defense to copyright infringement was codified for the first time in section 107 of the 1976 Act. Fair use was not a novel proposition in 1976, however, as federal courts had been using a common law form of the doctrine since the 1840s (an English version of fair use appeared much earlier). The Act codified this common law doctrine with little modification. Under section 107, the fair use of a copyrighted work is not copyright infringement, even if such use technically violates section 106. While fair use explicitly applies to use of copyrighted work for criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research purposes, the defense is not limited to these areas. The Act gives four factors to be considered to determine whether a particular use is a fair use: the purpose and character of the use (commercial or educational, transformative or reproductive); the nature of the copyrighted work (fictional or factual, the degree of creativity); the amount and substantiality of the portion of the original work used; and the effect of the use upon the market (or potential market) for the original work.

One of the worst, if not THE worst decisions I ever saw... I had it 10 - 2, 9 - 3 if I'm looking for Nelson rounds for Jeff. And the worst part is this would've made Fenech the first undefeated four division champ AND it ruined his mojo... he was not the same fighter ever again after that... but one of the great action fights of all time as they were glued to a ring post wailing away on each other for 12 rounds... but hats off to Azumah, an all-time great for sure who proved his greatness again in Australia in the rematch.

Nelson got his ass kicked in that fight. At the end of the fight, when each corner is removing the gloves, look at the difference in the expression of each fighter. Fenech knew he’d won while Nelson was near motionless. He knew he’d probably lost the fight. I will say this about Don King: he has organized and promoted some of the best fights we will ever see in our lives, but at the same time, he has seriously tarnished the sport of boxing with his cheating and corruption.
Side note: Salvador Sánchez could’ve beaten all of them. May he RIP.

Rematch settled bout. For the first fight, Nelson claimed he had been recovering from malaria, a nasty tropical disease.
Consequently, going into the second fight, he boldly predicted a knock out. We have to admit that he was spot on, on the knock out, in Fenech's backyard. Azumah thrived on beating rivals on their home turf, as he did to our Charm Chiteule, earlier, in Zambia.

Also Zuma is world class and looked great until round 3, then he couldn't cope with the pressure. Some people think it was close, but Jeff battered him. He was never the same after this fight. The hunger and fierce determination was gone. He said he didn't train hard enough for the rematch and thought he was invincible. I believed Fenech was the clear winner that day. It was a robbery that it was declared a draw. I also believed it revealed that Nelson was finally slipping. The second fight was the complete opposite. Still, you have to give Fenech his due with this one.

Don King was Nelsons promotor. Don King rigged that fight because there is no way Nelson beat Fenech . When Jeff hit Azumah with that vicious right in the 3rd , it totally changed the whole fight . The second and third judges must have gotten a decent pay off from King
