- Hej hej ludzie! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. May 2024 be a great year for you but most importantly, BE KIND TO YOURSELF. This year I have a lot of adventures for us to enjoy together so this is a great way to end 2023 and begin 2024. We spent our Xmas in the Polish Mountains and it was fantastic! Sadly we couldn't ski because the temperature rose a bit too high and the snow melted making the skiing routes a bit too dangerous for us non professional skiiers :D

Wonderful. Great family outing. We were going to the inlaws mountain apartment in Cieplice, Jelenia Gora, the second Christmas Day. Canceled trip at last minute. Wanted to go skiing 15 minutes from inlaws on Czech side plus see my wife’s extended family in Lower Silesian . My inlaws are in Germany at their apartment there so they actually spent time with brother inlaw and niece at a Chinese buffet. 😊 Next month married 22 years and we have pretty much always did Polish Christmas on the 24th and American on the 25th. Really like seeing you get into the exchanging wishes for the new year. My wife made compote but I also am not a fan. I recommend for Vigo you take him to Energylandia and do a video of that place. Plus you are near Pope John Paul IIs home and you can do a video there as well. There are the salt mines in that region that are lovely to visit. I would recommend a visit to Auschwitz but not as a you tube video. Just to experience once. Very sobering.

we do every year but given the fact that this was a hotel event and they organised a Santa event the next day, we decided to do it like that

Vigo, your trip to Szczyrk was a good decision. Szczyrk is also a very attractive place. Zakopane, however, is a price ripp off. It's high time for competition to act. Happy New Year to you and your family.
I'm at the beginning of the vid, but, as for the snow, I expect a not too happy ending - because of the high temperatures we experienced over Christmas with snow melting rapidly. But let's see, hopefully is the Szczyrk resort high enough. 😊

O, byłeś po sąsiedzku! Szczyrk jest ok. pół godz. jazdy ode mnie. Osobiście uważam, że Wisła jest ładniejsza i atrakcyjniejsza od Szczyrku, chociaż infrastruktura do zjazdów jest większa w Szczyrku.
