Alright. So, I have two of these for fixing really bad edges, one for the house, one for the shop. They work great as steel hogs, but can you recommend a way to lapp them? I tried 80 grit sandpaper and... well... they kinda ate the sandpaper like it was nothing o_0

The loose grit method works best, but a cheap diamond lapidary disk can also be used. A 12" coarse round plate is typically about $50 on eBay.

Probably made by Igelfors Liefabrik for the American market, but without good photographs it's difficult to say for sure. Emailing us with clear images would be the best way for us to provide an identification.

Does this stone release any grit,ie ,is it somewhat self refreshing?
Or should I anticipate dressing it every so often ?

It's specifically formulated to refresh its surface. The green silicon carbide fractures faster than the black, which then increases the pressure on the black, allowing it to then shed. The rate of wear is calculated to work just fast enough to coincide with the rate at which the particles blunt in use.
