I drive it a month ago. The S90 is well on the road and handles very pleasant. The head up display works very well and the rest of the settings works well, too. It´s a beautiful car, but for the price (price range of 45k basic model - 78k with special equipment) you get quite commanded more at Mercedes or Audi.

The thing that nobody knows or shows about Volvos is that it has a sport mode that changes throttle/turbo responsiveness & steering feedback. With competitors such as BMW & Infiniti, they're always aggressive which also has an effect on gas mileage. All you have to do is shift to D then move the shifter knob to the left which engages Sport Mode & you'll see an 'S' on your dash. I personally like the fact you have the option to drive regular without jumping from a stop at a red light. & when sport mode isn't fast enough you could always shift yourself in manual mode.
Just an FYI if you test drive one.

One poster wrote that Lars was bad with his terminology here -- not at all. I only noticed two small mistakes. First, he referred to the 20 inch wheels as giving the car a good "stand" on the road; the correct word is "stance." The other one was when he called the taillight the "back light." Most people don't know this, but "backlight" is very specific car designer jargon for the rear window ..... Lars has the benefit of having a very good, friendly personality for a presenter.

A 4 cylinder engine is absolutely not for me in such a car, but if the MERC E300 that does have a 4 cylinder engine came in the same price as the t6 price i would totally pick the s90

Tom the raton 77 no, Volvo only has 4 cylinder engines were the maximum one is 400hp and is a hybrid. They might bring back 5-6 cylinder engines in the future.

Sadly its no beaut in the flesh or even as comfy as S60 & S80. It looks awful in front of you with its rear and like a big VW Passat. Personally I'm really disappointed. The new XC60 has caught my eye though👀👅
