- Wasn't actually going for a speedrun and just cleared some random 7★ quest for the weekly bounty, sub 3 should be easily possible since the LS I've used in this run probably isn't even the best one for Diablos (but the best one I have at the moment)

Mistermeowskers Thehunter I know, have been playing since 3U. I was never really into LS though, until now. MHW really made every weapon much more fun to use, but my main has been LS so far, it just plays so smooth

Very nice. I recently started playing this game, and I'm really into it, but this monster has just had my number, having caused me to faint 4-5 times already (still in low rank currently). Anyway, I gotta get better at the game, so take care.
I have one question, the new movement with the long sword, that what you evade the charges and all, gives you immunity to the hit?
Alfredo Martinez Cantero yes but you need to time it well and you need to do a hit before doing for example circle then r2+circle you cant start with it so you need to know exactly when the monster is going to attack.
Hey when you do that slash (not sure if the name) where you press Circle and triangle together, how do you make it combo so it glows you white and insantly levels up your long sword? All it does for me is uses my spirit gauge and doesn’t power anything up ( the move you do when Diablo goes under ground and you backstep out the way)
Titanite Slab it is actually O as opening, and R2+O when countering, if this succeed, it will fill up the guage, immediate followed up by R2 to level up
Titanite Slab The move you're probably asking about is the foresight slash. It's the one where he glows blue
then follows up with a roundhouse slash after the counterattack which levels up the spirit gauge.
Canta what is your opinion on the difficulty of World to previous MH games?

Is it just me or does it look like he's going down on the spirit helm breaker faster than usual at the last half second? Would it have something to do with the final triangle (ps4) combo? I've noticed that when performing spirit helm breaker, I only really needed to use R2 + triangle without needing to use triangle at the end of the combo.

What are the decorations you have on your armor? And have you made any adjustments (different LS, decorations, etc) since uploading this video? I'm currently using the Extermination Edge, but I'm having a hard time deciding what armor and decorations to go for. Any tips would be appreciated! (I'm a new player btw, first mh game. I'm a LS fan, and that performance was just amazing! Any tips / tricks on how to get better at the Foresight Slash, other than "just keep practicing", any good ways?
Just remember that you get almost a full second of invincibility from foresight slash and use the small thrust to time it better

I'm not sure if it's in this game (since I'm waiting for the PC release before playing World), but I feel like Peak Performance would be a great skill with the longsword, considering how you were able to topple a high rank Diablos while at full health the entire time.
How are you following up with the foresight strike I don't get an option when I'm pretty sure I'm countering at the right time

What is that move you do to evade his attack when he is underground?
New to the game, how does he do that thing at 0:40 where he roundslashes on the second hit?
He counters the boss roar.
I guess I'm a little late on that but in case you still dont know. After a foresight slash you can instantly go into the last hit from the spirit combo and tier up your gauge. but you need to actually dodge an attack that would otherwise hit you (blue sparkling and pling sound indicates that) and you then have to hit the monster with the slash.

Do you Spirit slash (R2 by default) after foresight slash counters and hits him? I know foresight slash fills up the gauge but i didnt know you can use it to skip R2 spam for next spirit level
