If you look at Prince Max of Liechestein and his bride Angela you will see why Meghan chose the dress. Everything plotted carefully... her oprah interview dress and hair style also closely resembled Wallace Simpson.
A black mannequin would have been better in order to see the lace pattern stand out. On white it doesn't stand out, white dresses are always better on a darker colour, just as darker colour dresses are better on lighter colour mannequins.

It was both of these women who in their gowns gave class to their wedding days . They gave a beauty that only they could have given . I think these two women had the same gown makers . Princess Grace was married in the 1950's and if you look at the style of Hrh Kate's gown it also is a reflection of the 1950's . My mother's wedding gown was a 1950's time and those gowns from and tailored from the 1950's were absolutely gorgeous without a doubt . The gowns themselves displayed class . They displayed a distinguishing look . So basically when you put the women in the gowns the look of it all was without a doubt absolutely breathtaking and truly memerable . In 50 years from now they will display the same effect . Unfortunately Princess Diana's gown does not display the same effect . The bodice on Diana's gown was more of a clown which tells me that British Royality really didn't want Diana in the "Firm" .

Yeah. The dress is beautiful but the boring park is how conservative it was. Even Grace Kelly had something to it that made better than this one. Kate looked like she could barely breathe. Like a different neckline would've made such a difference.
you do realise that this was a dress that she wore when becoming part of the royal family, there are certain standards the Royals set for their dress-code and so it would have been heavily influenced by the royal family.

Overall Eugenie's was better than Kate and she was looking far better than Kate as a bride. And Kate was even rude to Meghan's big day by wearing an off white dress, a hue which was nearer to white.
