    There are many kingdoms in Uganda. That's one of the royal weddings in one of the kingdoms, the most recent.

    The second Royal wedding in that Kingdom since the 70s.But as you are aware Uganda has many Kingdoms.Buganda Kingdom had one in the 1990.Actually the first ever youngest King to be Crowned was King Oyo the 4th from the Tooro Kingdom of Western Uganda.He was crowned at 3 Years.The youngest ever in the world.He is now 31 Years of age.We anticipate that he will get married soon.

    As a member of an African royal family (my branch of the family is a junior branch), we marry for duty, and to preserve the lineage and institution. We do not initially marry for love. Love comes later. This is true for many African noble families.

    I love this tradition though I wish they wouldn’t have to send the queen packing if she can’t produce an heir. Interesting 🧐

    Basically at 1:41 they were trying to say that according to the baise clan in that specific county , there are special agents that work for the kingdom that are set to select and help out I'm the process of picking the queen or wife to be for the king .it's through various processes that the queen is selected depending on the criteria but tye fact that they had met before I think it made this easier for both the queen and the royal family at large. The queen can't say no if the king chooses her but are given time to know each other for a while before the wedding

    Not first royal wedding. First in Busoga Kingdom. Uganda has so many kingdoms. I hope you can actually react to the actual wedding not the commentary

  • @MrAndyroni
    @MrAndyroni Před 6 měsíci

    From Uganda here. We have different kingdoms and the last Royal wedding was there in 1999..
    For the King of Busoga, the finding of this wife in particular was ceremonial because the king studied with her in high school. The the elders were doing background checks just to clear and give a go ahead

  • @hospitableafricatoursand-gu7ce

    i dont think any african girl...in her right mind would say no if a king were to extend his interest in marriage towards her

    • @rayruvumba7380

      That's not true at all, not all African girls are into marrying kings.
