    He called it the pearl because of its beauty and landscape and nature, the people, the weather, the fertile soils and many more factors. I love to see people genuinely interested in learning about other cultures and ways of life. Unfortunately, that video did not do Uganda justice it really undersold the pearl of Africa you most definitely have to do some more digging and experience the land and feel how 45 million people can have 50+ tribes and languages and different beliefs and ways of life but still all be so similar. Sending much love and hope one day you guys can experience all these countries you react to.

    LOL... I love how her mind works thinking about Pearls. But I think its just an expression European explorers loved to throw around back in the day. Jamaica was described as "pearl of the Caribbean" by Columbus and also "the jewel in king's crown" because it was such a massive sugar producer that boosted the British Empire's economy.

    This guy didn't explain why Uganda is the pearl of Africa. When we talk about tourism, Uganda is so versatile. We have enough mountains for mountain climbers, the second largest fresh water lake Victoria, the second longest river Nile has its source in Uganda, we have a number of game parks with a variety of animals including the chimpanzees, mountain guerillas, and baboons, plus the big five i.e. elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions/cats, giraffe, etc. Uganda is blessed with the best climate, vegetation and hospitable people. Uganda has a variety of natural food which among other are bananas, cassava, sweet and Irish potaotes, rice etc. When you talk about fruits, eat them from supermarkets in Europe but find them in the wild in Uganda that explains how much variety Uganda has. Uganda is crossed by the equator and its blessed with both rain and sunshine hence no winter or summer issues. The traditional dances in Uganda are phenomenal. Not forgetting the Crested Crane and the Uganda Job which defines the country's gentlity.

    I love watching your videos; educative
    Ugandan time basically means ...Ugandans are usually late to everything , the only thing am not sure about is the English accent being the best, we do use English for all levels of school, although for most village schools, it is not at a good standard and also other countries like Kenya and SouthAFrica use English, so it could be one of the best but not sure about number one.
    About the Bananas; we have many different types that i have not seen in some of the western countries i have been to "never been to America though"
    I dont know about the entrepreneurship part but the rest seems right !!

    • @commonsense6797
      @commonsense6797 Před rokem +1

      Entrepreneurship figures are true -- but connote something totally different -- think of it as self employment . Formal employment opportunities are very low in the country -- to survive ; most people have to be self employment -- and the route to this is cyclically opening as many businesses as the opportunities they encounter.

    Uganda is my motherland, the origin of the Ancient Egyptians as written in the papyrus of Ani, one of the locations of the mountains of the moon, where Ma'at, the Creator of water dwells. My people, the Ankole-Hima, had to fight a bush war to get rid of the Dictator Idi Amin, who murdered 250,000 Ugandans, a tyrant, who killed many of my people and stole our precious cows. We finally got rid of the wicked Idi Amin in 1986,
