Thanks for your comment on the Bach. I’m a young 72 and just coming off a three year break to get braces to realign my teeth. I am trying very hard to be patient on a come back and I’m seeing some progress but I’m having problems getting my upper register back. I’ve been playing a Bach 1 1/2 C and have always loved my sound on it. You answered my question about changing my mouthpiece; I will stay with the Bach and continue to be patient doing long tones as well as a variety of other proven exercises. I really enjoyed your session with Mr. Adam! Thanks for your positive attitude and willingness to share your knowledge with us. May the Lord bless you richly!

Hey Chris, glad things are going well. Just remember as you ascend into the higher register use tongue level to ascend and make sure that the air stream stays consistent. Make sure that you keep the corners tight you should be all set. Hope this helps. dB sends Love and Respect to you ❤️

Sounds great. I'm definitely with you on always preferring solid metal mouthpieces. Other materials are comfortable, but my sound concept just works better on a standard metal piece.

Thank you for this video. You’ve been very influential to me in my choice of equipment for sure. Only thing I can tell about Lotus mouthpieces is that I hate the little notches under the rim, the design cutouts, because they get dirty and full of gunk pretty quick and a pain to keep clean. I wish it was just flat decor. Other than that these are some great pieces. Coming from a lotus player myself, it’s a really damn good combo with the Solo Max or especially the Silver Flare as it warms the bottom even more and yet allows that brilliance to shine at the top.
