- Todd was very loving this morning asking for some Floor Time CUddles. Glamour as a kitten with her special toy play fetch with Dad
Bonus Video: I found some old videos of Glamour I will share. Today’s video is from 15 years ago when she was a 3-month-old kitten and just discovered she had a tail. Lol
Todd is a 6-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 51 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”. Cuddles equals true love. What happened to Glamours special toy?
It was a plush snowman Christmas ornament she claimed off our tree. She loved it, took it everywhere, and even slept with it. There were 4 in the set, so I set them all aside for her. Being a Christmas ornament, it was not made to last, and the 4 of them lasted about 7 years. I tried very hard to find more or anything that would be acceptable. Like Todd's Jingle Ball, it had to be right, and nothing was acceptable. She has not had a special toy since.

I still get the notion that Glamour is somewhat interested in the buttons, but she feels a little bit shy to try them out❤
Shy is not a word I would use to describe Glamour, lol. She has disliked the buttons from the first day I set them up. Glamour does not like when anyone speaks unless it is to her. She yells at My wife and I when we talk, She tries to make me get off the phone. She does not like the buttons talking. Young Glamour is so similar to Todd - it's surprising, as they seem so different from one another now.
They have never been the same in personalities. The enjoy some of the same games and are both bonded to me but the similarities end there.
I've been "off the grid" for a few weeks, so going to be catching up with my fav CZcamsrs... going in reverse order from now to back in time. Anyway, I love, love, love this video. I soooo miss my long-haired kitty Sierra (RIP) that passed in December last year. It is fun to watch Todd and Glamour (and Paulie when he makes an appearance) just being their furry little selves. It was so fun today to see Glamour playing fetch! She reminds me of my all white kitty Solomon (RIP) who would fetch, bringing it all the way to me the first time, then stop a bit short the second, and even shorter the third time before being all done with the game. I always thought he was thinking, "Look, I've brought your toy back to you three times and you keep throwing it... You can get it yourself this time." Ha ha... Thanks for sharing your beautiful cats with us!

I love the totally relaxed, on his back, giant floof, with the look of love for you in his eyes, cuddles. Jealous, cuz neither of mine will allow that.
My black and white, Abby-Lu has a UTI and we went for xrays yesterday. Found a lot of problems! Three arthritic vertabrae mid spine, a badly damaged disc at the base of her tail and a kidney stone almost as big as her Rt kidney! Trying to get a urine sample to see if there are crystals. Hoping it's not the kidney stone causing the problems cuz surgery is not in my fixed income budget. Please say a prayer for my Abby.....

My daughter's cat Muffinz used to chase hair elastics and scrunchies. Little stinker would steal them from the bathroom. She also hunted the crickets in the basement and leave them for me. 😂 I was grossed out, but didn't let her know and lavished praise for it.
Lol, that sounds so much like Glamour. In these old videos, I've found there is one of her coming into the bathroom and opening a drawer to steal an elastic. Glamour also likes to leave me crickets. She doesn't kill them, she pulls their legs off so they can't get away and I have to perform the mercy kill.

Oh ❣️❣️❣️ I just melted at reading your reply to the person in this comments section who asked you how Todd became part of your family 😻💞🐾😽 I'll be honest though...you know he smelled Glamour on you 😹 and he went ❣️🐾😻💞😽 She's a special sweetie pie in her own right. Her chirps are positively adorable, and she certainly was an excellent hunter in her day, not too shabby now either. Their interaction at the beginning of this video was interesting. I'm guessing Glamour was in the Fakeout-I'm-Harmless-(But-Ready-to-Ambush-Pounce) Pose, and Todd was either in I-Submit-to-Your-Royal-Highness Pose or he was ready to ambush pounce, too. All playful, of course. Although with Glamour, she might have been a touch more serious than Todd 😹🐾😻😽❣️🐾😻😽❣️ and for Paulie just because 🐾😻😽❣️
I'm glad you liked it. It is a sweet story. Todd's attitude, anytime anyone tried to hold him, was put me down, that one over there is mine, imbgoing with him. Lol.

It seemed to me lately that Glamour is more feeling comfortable around the buttons and around Todd. Ah and playing fetch, soo cute in the kitchen. Does she do this again sometimes?

How did you get Todd? Wondering if he was "cat delivery system" or you found him at a shelter, etc.
I went to the shelter, and I support to meet my mom and help her pick a cat. When I walked into Todd room after he saw me, he ran to me and insisted I pick him up and hold him. I said this is a friendly one and gave him to mom. He squirmed and made her put him down, and he ran back to me. He did the same thing with anyone who tried to hold him. I'd I set him down to look at another kitten he would start crying and demanding I pick him up again. I looked at my wife and said I think I've been adopted. She said it looks like it, so Todd came home with me. He knew I was his hooman.
