great video, to think i never had any of this done in the 4 years i owned my sym jet 14 before it was stolen by thieves and then destroyed by fire. if and when i buy a new one i will do all this work my self after first watching this video, or better still have my laptop next to the scooter and watch each part as i work on the part im replacing.. this is so educational, i'd have no choice but to replace the parts my self as theres no local service center i know of that service sym jets as the company i buy my sym jet 14 from will be pretty far away as theres nothing local sadly.

I would also love to see such a comprehensive video on the Jet14 125 but I assume a lot of the procedures are more or less the same? Great video.
The basis remains the same with almost all scooters, real bolts can of course be placed differently and you have to deal with different part sizes.

You do know if you can reach the nuts with a caliper you can meassure yourself?

At 6:20, is that washer the one for the restriction of the transmission? Or is it an essential part of it that cant be removed? Thank you!
It's for restriction indeed. It ensures that the V-belt cannot rise high on the pulley.

I have just got variator rolls/ guides for my Sym jet 14 50cc bike but if I’m honest the look tiny and I’m not sure if they are the right ones the rolls are 5.9 grams I think do they work

Hallo CO, dat is inderdaad de varioring van kunststof omdat een stalen exemplaar zich kan inslijten op je varioteur waardoor het oppervlak beschadigd word, de breedte bepaalt de top snelheid van je scooter

Il faut que tu débranche le fil bleu et blanc du CDI qui se trouve sous la selle il faut que tu devisse les vis dans la selle et tu auras un accès total
