In the books Rhaeynra does Absolutely nothing so they show has to make up stuff get her to do even if it doesn’t make sense

Interesting take, but remember the books is written from the perspective of the maesters which is said to be unreliable. At least that's what G. R R Martin said in an interview. I like the conversation from a different perspective, though.
