It is so ironic to see how things change in DBS. Bulma is married to Vegeta and is a scientist wearing white lab coat, while Pilaf and his gang are just assistants.
Its confusing for me, in DBS Pilaf and his gang turned younger and Goku is older, but now in DB Pilaf and his Gang are older and Goku is younger
@@shandik2061from what I could find in the same year trunks was born pilaf and his gang managed to get the dragon balls again and wished themselves younger but they weren’t specific enough and turned into babies so physically they’re the same age as trunks but mentally they’re even older than Bulma
Hell yeah, give respect to Pilaf for being the first villain! Was awesome when he came back for DBS. And always love how calm and confident Goku was from the beginning

The original japanese is way more vulgar so the english dub censors it. Mai's joke about short people was originally a joke about balls (dragon balls/testicles) and Pilaf gets mad because it's inappropriate.
As for Pilaf's "Treatment", it is originally "Something dirty". After Bulma is unimpressed, Yamcha says "Incredible! She withstood it!"
Then Bulma says: "I thought you were going to strip me and do a hero-hero, pafu-pafu, kyoi-kyoi or an inguri-monguri to me!" after which the entire Pilaf gang is in shock and calls her a pervert.
Oh, the wish in the next episode is going to be hilarious! Such a classic Dragon Ball moment!

Yes, you can stop Shenron mid summon if you kill the namekian who created that dragon.
To be fair, there's another way to stop it, but we'll get to that later in this series.

The great thing about watching this series is you come to learn and love those characters you don't get as much of in Z and Super, such as Oolong.

You know watching this after DBS just makes me see how far things have come. Future Trunks is dating Mai, a woman older than his mother who regained her youth from a wish on the Dragon Balls.
And present day Trunks has a crush on Mai who also regained her youth while Bulma is completely fine with it even though she’s aware who Mai is and how old she actually is.
It’s interesting honestly
1 thing you should know in DB if you hadn't noticed already, as strong as Goku is, he's not that much stronger than the people he meets, it's only after a while that he starts training and he becomes strong, until then he's basically on par with any other real martial artist.
Has he reacted to the DBZ movies? After he finishes OG DB, it would be awesome if he reacted to Dead Zone since it's practically an epilogue of Dragon Ball OG.
I really hope you do ALL of OG Dragon Ball. It's 153 episodes, but it's really some great stuff. And it gets better the further you get into it.

6:14 For all the Dub only people I really want to point out a difference in the Sub here that I personally find really funny for those that are interested. The dialogue is basically the same up until the point when Bulma says "I thought you guys were tough" but instead of berating them she goes on to say what she expected to happen to her, making a couple different perverted noises like Pafu Pafu (which implies face between breasts I think) and others I am unfamiliar with.
All of this is to say that when the Pilaf gang acts surprised, and Pilaf throws Bulma back into the prison, it is not because they are offended by her insults it is because they are repulsed by her dirty mind lol
