The reason why they are different Colours is so as not to put the left bank gasket on the right or vice versa. Lots of vehicles gaskets, seals and o-rings are like that. Plus both are different in shape and fit.
There different colors to differentiate between Bank 1 black and Bank 2 blue ... Silicone is Silicone regardless the color. They only go one one way... and a gasket is a gasket... Fel Pro has never let me down... 😊
Would be nice if in the old days they would also color code the spark plug wires coming off the distributor 😆. You can change one at a time but just saying, there's only a right and left gasket and they color code that??

Felpro gaskets are the best. Left and right side are different. They will work just fine.

I used to do fel pro. Now my first preference is mahle / Victor reinz
Seen too many fel pro gaskets give . Mahle makes a ton of oem gaskets etc.

Blue is intake side unless your like me and ordered from lexus and they both are black🙃
With an inline 6 engine replacing the valve cover and gasket is half the work than a V6
4 cylinder is the easiest to work less labor less cost half the major cost alot less work
