🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

As someone with autism, I absoluetly love the fact that your characters really don't mind me not talking with my voice. They don't expect me to answer with words and often ask questions that can be answered by nodding or shaking your head and that really makes me feel happy. In a world where people always look at me like I'm some sort of circus monster, it really feels good to come back every now and then on your channel and finally feel like I belong. :)
I don't have autism but I'm also non-verbal and the way you worded this is so damn accurate bro
I am Autistic too. Except I'm not the more oppsite side of things. Maybe to do with me having ADHD too. I tend to over talk things so much that no one knows what I'm talking about at somepoint. Even myself gets lost on what I'm trying to say! Still though, I do have my more down moments and just like to hyperfixatite on someone's soft voice. It's calming. Calm isn't usually something I can achieve, and that's nice. :3
I sometimes go non-verbal due to anxiety/panic attacks and I also appreciate it when I’m giving the opportunity to not use words or to sign instead

You are quite a phenomenal actor Jim. Your roles are so convincing that one can't help but have this intense empathy for the characters' plights. You could easily send in any one of your videos like this into a major acting agency and probably get recruited for a few roles.

A Canadian friend once dropped a series of copious profanities, but capped them off with an upward-lilting, "Eh?" at the end, which somehow made the entire outburst endearing. So if anyone could make someone feel better about turning into a werewolf, it would be a Canadian.

I was expecting the big question to be....
" How do you feel about craving freshly pulled human flesh with the appearance of every full moon....are you up for murder now?" Followed by an intriguing Jim insight into the complexities of human behaviour around morals. Would the choice come down to taking life or giving up life? Just me jumping naively ahead to wrong conclusions again. Instead I was slain again by Jim's brilliant surprise, thought provoking moves on the subject upon the table. Also the surprise feline up on the table who knows his crazy cat daddy will always come through with hugs and thrills..

Life can get a bit hairy at times. When the world seems all tooth and nails aggressive and all you want is to run for the forest, it's nice to know Jim is here to comfort you, give you a pat, and help deal with things. There's no need to get your fur all matted. Just grab a pint of lager (logger), sit up like a good boy, and take the treat that Jim always delivers.

As someone who's Canadian, I can agree that the accent sometimes(depends on the voice of the person ofc-) can sound monotone or like a, idk a happy pitch sometimes-
(And feel better btw, life can be a idiot sometimes but just take it in strides, step by step, and focus on you)
