Finding the Stelvio Pass: Abarth 124 road trip vlog

- This year, the Abarth 124 - the only small Italian sports car currently in production - was taken off sale in the UK. So before it dropped off the FCA press fleet for good, I decided to take it on one final adventure to remind myself why cars like this so special - and why it's a tragedy that they seem to be dying out.

That means the world to me mate. Onwards and upwards!
Got a little worried you'd stopped doing the uploads there..........very happy that's not the case. Keep up the good work man, great content.
Had to take some time off for this one, it was a big project. Normal frequent uploads driving knackered old hot hatches will now resume! Thanks bud 👊
I thought the same thing lol.
@@JackScarlett1 Civic Type R please :)
Hectic upload cuz, please keep them coming. From the land down under
More on the way cuzzy
Finally an upload: a great one too- it was worth the wait. Reminds me of the epic episode where top gear went to find the best road in the world. Cracking job mate
Your videos just keep getting better. You're a natural at this.
For a while I thought you'd given up on CZcams! Soooo glad to see you back mate, keep them coming!

Bro! Honestly! Amazing work! Love your stuff! Love the documentation and the vibe.
I was looking forward to this one Jack!! Me & the fam did the Stelvio around 2010 I think, driving to Italy also, I still remember the scenery so clearly! Unreal! 🤩
Was clearly an amazing trip & great video 👏🏻
I have done part of the Stelvio Pass. It was May so was not open but the gate was so we went for it. Got nearly to the top before we had to stop because of the snow. I need to go again when its actually open.

Lovely video and a tidy little comment for the algorithm. Also I have to move to Switzerland now and have a 124.
Thank you dude! Man I miss that car so much. Future classic for sure
Fun video!
Fuck yes, mate. Perfect x
Galvia pass also bloody scary and empty.
Jack love the channel watched your gti vids then subscribed
On which routes are you coming back? I totally recommend Switzerland, if you need some hints to shot nice landscapes with the 124 in the foreground let me know. Cheers
Great video. You deserve many more subscribers!! Only a little correction. The multiair engine of the 124 is not the tjet engine of the 595😉
Thanks for pointing this out. Do you know what the difference is between the two?
Jack Scarlett Hi Jack. In simple words and with my poor English the multiair is a newer engine with a specific regulation of the engine valves which are controlled through hydraulics, allowing a better and more fuel economical injection of air in the cylinders. Both are based on the very old Fiat Fire engine. Unfortunately with the new regulations the multiair is going to be replaced by the “firefly engine” or abandoned (it’s too expensive to update to the new emissions rules). This is one of the reason why FCA is going to stop to sell the 124 not only in UK but probably even in many other countries. Even here in Italy you can buy only models already produced but you cannot configurate a brand new one... ...
@@JackScarlett1 multiair has hydraulic variable valve lift and just one overhead camshaft. In some conditions it can control the engine torque without using the throttle valve, so it has higher efficiency and should have better response.
What luggage rack is that? Great video.
How the heck does it get so few views... great video! I like the bed and the fat boy can't hang parts, hahaha...
Abarth 124 spiderは本当に良い車で僕もオーナーです。僕の国で製造しています。
Weight limit problem? I just got an abarth
Is it just me, or does this guy sound like the guy who narrated DriveTribe's Midnight Club video?
I am he
I thought I recognised that voice! Haha awesome video man :)
Can you make a review on the i30N
why the McDonalds Colors?
Its not de same 1.4 Engine, Abarth 500 has T-Jet and the 124 Multiair Technology 😉 By the Way nice Video🦂
