I am English. I visit the southern states about twice a year and have done for a long time . I would say to anyone , get off the tourist trails . take the back roads . the ordinary people you meet will renew your faith in human nature . Virginia is my favourite state but they all have a place in my heart . The southern people are wonderful and are every bit as charming polite friendly and honest as anywhere else on earth . people make a place . the south proves that every time . I get to come back again I want to be born in the south . Thank you . a grateful Englishman.
It's almost better to stay in CA where I can itemize deductions. I top out with Trump's SALT but it's still better than no deductions and having to pay tax on social security.
I've never been to West Virginia. Lewisburg looks awesome. Even the assholes are nice. Everyone tells me to buy a one way ticket. Once your there you will never want to leave.
