My Santa fe modernized 2-10-2. Has a 9 ounce pull on the draw bar. She has literally pulled and pushed stalled trains on my clubs layout with no problem and it has no traction tires. There are parts on that layout that have 2% grades. I absolutely adore that engine in fleet
I have to ask Matt have you ever considered using Kato Unitrack double crossover switches to connect all four of your loops? I would be neat to see a video where you show us what lengths of locomotives and rolling stock look good running on certain radius curves.
Please do detailing videos on the Walthers ES44AC, I just bought a UP Flag scheme and I would like to follow a video instead of screwing things up. Thank you!
@@RodimusPrime It’s an electric locomotive using third rail power the prr built due to the tunnel ban for steam engines only did a brief search. The prr museum has a pair 3938 and 3938. The only way that I have known about them is by seeing them outside when I go there.
I have to agree with you. I like their stuff but things are too unpredictable. There are better options out there. And BLI is continually getting more expensive.
@@GrotrianSeiler Thankfully yes there is much better stuff. I like ScaleTrains, Atlas Master Gold, and Walthers Proto the best. I have my first Rapido on order so lets see how that goes. Athearns are too noisy for me, but I do have an Athearn Genesis 2.0 SDMAC90 that runs well.
Hey Matt great video man looking forward to seeing that March madness thing next month, also I feel your pain on waiting for the new N&W class A from BLI I’ve had my pre ordered since they announced them basically. Any idea on when they might be here? Thanks again man Jeff aka NW611J. PS I do know they are in the states hopefully the A and Y6B will be here in a week or two.
I checked out your earlier vids on latest layout. Got some Kato on order. Pretty sure I know why you've got a four track main. What's your vision on expansion?

ESU Has smoke units on their first party trains they sell, should be no issue to set one of those up :)

Im planning on it
@@RodimusPrime Ok, thanks for doing that.
Y6B are in stock at trainworld
The March madness sounds cool. You thinking of getting the GHB prr DD-1? Keep up the great content.
Im not familiar with a PRR DD1?

Scale Sound speakers are the best sounding speakers thus far!
Four months turn around with a BLI switcher and it came back running worse than before. Last item I am buying from them.
Thats why I fix myself I ask only for parts

I love the paint scheme on it cause its different, basic black steam is everywhere
Same
I’m keeping that paint on when I restore it

Cant really do anything till I move.
I have to ask, at 6:30 in the video to the left of the Challenger what are those two white plastic bottle for and what purpose are they for modeling?
Micro crystal clear glue...many uses
