I’m sold man! You haven’t let me down in any of your drill/educational videos. Hell I’ve only been playing for like 4 months and I’m already almost as good if not better than a couple buddies of mine that have been playing over 5 years. And you know what? Thank you man! Your drills and little tricks and advice has really taken my game a long way in very short amount of time. And I am looking for a new set. Well look no more I say. 😀

Great "Pro-tip" on how your new PW will integrate or transition into your wedges! Great insight! Of course now I'm confused...Mizuno 919 Forged or these Hogans? LOL Thanks again for the hard work you put into your channel! God bless!

These are great! I am a senior golfer{ still play the blues} I have gained yardage and accuracy with these, also switched to a senior flex shaft which increased my clubhead speed . I had more good scores last year than I did in the past five years . My fifth set of hogans, I highly recommend them.

Thanks Matt. Always love your vids. I've never been fitted, and not sure around here could and would do a good job of it. Been using an old yard sale set of Strykers just to get started. Only been playing a couple years, but decided to get a new set of irons for this coming year. Just got to find a place to the fitting and I'll order a set of these. Seems like the ultimate value for high quality.

I’ve been playing the original PTx since they came out four years ago. Excellent golf clubs. In that time I’ve also owned 8 other sets of irons in different makes and manufacturers just to try out different clubs and see what’s out there. Matt, are the lofts standard on the ts200 and ptx pro? If so the 4i of the ts200 is 1 degree stronger.and the PW is 3 degrees stronger. I use the hogan ptx / ft worth 15 as a combo set. Once I adjusted the lofts and lie angles to get my gapping and ball flights consistent I have found them.to be superior in consistency and feel over any other irons I've tested. Get those ptx pros fitted and you'll be even more amazed. Hogan has really.produced high end top notch irons for the last few.years at a fraction of the other brands in cost. Nothing comes even close in performance and value. Happy you've been introduced to the Hogan lineup!

I had a set of old Edge GCD irons. I sold those. Now I have a set of Taylormade rdz irons. I do really like them. I was planning on buying a new set of Hogan's when I retired. They are out of business now though. This news made me very upset. The Hogan company really does mean a lot to the golf equipment world, if not the game. In some people's eyes.
On a happy note. I found a 2021 set of Ben Hogan Edge EX (not ready for the pro models yet!). I'm really undecided if I'll play them now or not? I love the look of them clubs!

I REALLY miss the Hogan APEX -FTX irons!!
Great Muscle backs 3 to 7, then 8 to equalizer ( pitching wedge) were blades! the whole set had a blade look with more stability and distance than blades!
Fantastic forging, the muscle was a great design and placed perfectly, the feel was as GOOD as my mizuno mp32's! ( that says a lot when you can match Mizuno feel!) BUT---- the FTX set were LONGER by at least 10 yards.
Hard to find them now as a set!!

Hogan line up just look so good, especially the black diamond version! I have a set of Apex Edge Forged, I bought for $185, they were in such good shape, they feel great, some offset, a medium thick top line, stiff. They seem to go straighter than my regular flex set of PXG 0211XCOR2 set. Thanks

If you like these, make sure you try the equalizer wedges by Hogan. I think they are as good as, if not better, than all of the high end brands- I took my vokeys out the bag to play the equalizers . And they only cost $100 per stick including your choice of shaft !

Got the 58 first. Then I got the 50 in black. Absolutely awesome stick. Softest wedges I’ve owned. Put my Clevelands back in the closet. GREAT WEDGES

Based on your review considered Hogan’s demo program and also buying these irons but was discouraged by some of the reviews found on their own website😕. Customers reported problems with customer service and excessive delivery times with no updates.

Only problem with hogan irons are the limited shaft options. I play Nippon Modus 3 and can’t get on with the KBS shafts or DG options.

Great irons but you had to be able to hit a dime sized spot on the face. Not so with these.

Love your review Matt! Just a note on the TS200 vs the PTx Pro irons. The TS 200 4i loft is 21deg vs 22 deg for TPx Pro, TS 200 7i is 30deg vs 34 deg for PTx Pro, TS200 PW is 43deg vs 46 deg for PTx Pro irons, So I would expect more distance from the stronger lofts. The performance of the PTx Pro AND the cost cannot be beat! ;-)

At my best, playing to a 7 handicap in my 30's, the best I could hit a 4 iron was 185. Now I use a 4 hybrid. The longest iron I hit today is a 6 iron. I'll try the 6 iron vs my Taylormade 6 iron.

How about strength training and stretching exercises that are best for a strong, fast and also good golf swing that also won’t hurt the your back or body (for a future video idea)

Can you compare the feel, head size and forgiveness of these three clubs. I believe the ap2 are full forged and the Ben Hogan’s are not? Which has the softer feel? Also, what’s the difference in the lofts per the same club? I’m interested in buying a new set of irons and 2 of these 3 are on my list. Thanks
