What about lateral raises? Aren't they going to give the illusion of a bigger wider upper body?
Lateral raise is for the boulder shoulder
And yes lateral raise should be include as well because boulder shoulder makes u more dominant
But if u want a v taper
Workout upper chest, upper back and rear delt and side delts

Do pullups, dips, pushups, squats.
There are may variations of these 4 main movements you can do.

@@Aadi_Star_OG I used not be able to do pushups or pullup either.
Just focus on negative.
Start in a pushup position, slowly go down. Then if you can't push yourself up, get up on and get back in a pushup position and go down slowly. Do this until you can push yourself back up.
You can also do knee push-ups, incline pushups, wall pushups.
For pullup you can jump up on the bar all the way up and slowly let yourself go down.
Do this till you can pull yourself back up.

Deadlifts and farmers' walk should be enough to hit the same muscle groups.
@@oliviao2238normal deadlifts won't hit as good as squats.. Also they won't hit inner quads right.
I like squats and deadlifts but yes deadlifts hit them muscle groups too.

Lat Pulldown and Chin Up have too many overlaps. No point doing both.
Explain.
Classic example of a "BAR BODY" workout from somebody that probably skips leg day every week, lol. You won't be chiseled because no direct lower body work is being done. No squats, no lunges, no sprints, no sled pushes. This workout is for the big upper body, non-existent lower body crowd, lol!!
If you'll follow this you'll have a great upper body n no quads
