I'm going to be refinishing a few vintage chainsaws with powder coat and their cases are made out of magnesium and I am wondering if it's recommended that I put a powder coat primer on first or skip it? Also, is a clear coat finish recommended after the top coats?

@@RightNowPowderCoating Well, i learn a lot from you & Shaun (UPC) on your channels ;) I do the tribo small things, not bigger then an normal oven to melt, and make stunning results, especialy with hypershift colors.
