As a referee myself and seeing this, itâs a disgrace. How can they give so many wrong calls so close to the ball, purely bias referees

If you were a referee you would understand that of course it looks bad when they highlight only the decisions that went against them, ignoring the decision that went against the other team. That's what you call bias

Those Xhaka red cards against City and Liverpool are beyond ridiculous, especially the one against City. What annoyed me even more was how the fans immediately turned on Xhaka without bothering to analyze the situation. The guy sometimes is just the victim of biased officiating against Arsenal.

@@neilcarter1504 It's not 'normal crap ref decisions' when we're nearly almost on the 'bad' side of the decision. That's proof of bias. Nearly every other team gets decisions going their way as well from time to time. We don't.
Even Saka not getting a penalty against Palace, 3 penalties not given against Brentford(Ben White kicked, Pepe fouled and hand ball) at home and one away(Balogun kicked when in a scoring position).
The English referees should be looking at their incompetent display. What a shame
The one that shocked me was the yellow given to a Crystal Palace player for kicking Saka deliberately. And that was a game changing moment.
What was even more shocking was that VAR looked at it and didn't even take long to decide that it wasn't a red card. How in the world is that not a red card?

He created 3 good chances and should've scored one himself. How Auba missed his sitter, created by Nketiah, just says a lot about Auba's form at that moment.
This guy Rodri is a cult master, the amount of serious fouls he gets away with... CLEAR handball no penalty, no card, cynical challenges just waved off...whos this guy

Rodri, Fabinho and McTominay gets away with way too much. McTominay should've had at least 4 yellows against Leeds and a direct red vs Leicester.
Rodri didn't even get a yellow for his tackle on Martinelli and gets away with clear sabotage every single game.
Same with Fabinho. Grabbing hold of Laca with both arms, not even a yellow. It's ridiculous. The refs are horrible, and VAR is clearly biased(because it's the same refs).
And that's why they may not win the UCL again this year.
That's the rich city owners probly paying off refs. Wouldn't surprise me.
With Chelsea at home we also didnât get a pen for a clear foul on Saka in the first half disgrace
Even the Brentford first goal should have been disallowed. The ball had clearly gone out of play and was played back in before they scored.

the foul on Saka in the crystal palace game was woeful and clear evidence that the referee in EPL is incompetent at best and biased as hell at its worst.
Crystal Palace, Everton, Man City. All games which we dropped points on and will be interesting to see end of season how much of an effect VAR had on our top 4 run
This is the main reason arsenal are in 4th. If these referees did the right thing, people would be amazed at their league positions. Same reason they were 8th last season. And there was way more decisions against us than this. Balogun getting clattered in the first match against Brentford, not given a penalty, Saka not getting a penalty vs Palace, White getting kicked and Pepe fouled inside the box against Brentford at home, and that hand ball. Etc etc etc

For me it started to get really obvious the refs were fishy towards us when we lost to Brighton 2-1 in the game where Maupay injured Leno and then scored the winner in the 95th minute when there was only 3 mins of added time. Also the game in that same season against Leicester with Jamie Vardyâs (or Ayoze Perez whoever it was) goal that was clearly offside

That crystal palace game irks me so fucking much, you literally see the exact same tackle from McCarthur and Saka and of course only the Arsenal player gets booked. Teams will notice they can get away with a few crazy challenges, before you know it Saka is 25 and his career is over because of too much injuries when he was younger...

Cheers, Its difficult to be honest. The best way I found of avoid it is not letting a clip run for more than 5-6 seconds like at 3:45 . Hopefully you understand, I'm not great at explaining.

I think Arsenal officials at the end of 2021-22 season should arrange for a meeting with officials of EPL or English FA and discuss these things. Because these have been happening since years now. If EPL /FA can not give us proper explanation and assurance regarding this then Arsenal FC should move to French league or any such top division in Italy/Spain/Germany.

He's also the one who gave Martinelli a double yellow, not following the rules of throw-ins and advantage. And he has been the VAR way too many times when we have had decisions going against us.

I don't really know what Arsenal have done to referees that makes them to always go against Arsenal. They always frustrating Arsenal efforts and I don't really understand why they hates Arsenal with passion. The penalty awarded for Tottenham Hotspur against Arsenal was a clear evidence that the hates Arsenal.
It all started when Wenger said when he goes to heaven he will first ask God where are the EPL referees. This was after we got robbed against united that ended our un beaten run

In my opinion:
1.vs Brentford. Goal for Brentford should be disallowed.
2. vs Chelsea. Ridiculous decision, no foul by Holding in Chelsea game
3. vs Man City The red card decision for Xhaka is acceptable but yellow card for me was a better decision. Anyway VAR couldn't change Atkinson decision.
4. vs Palace It could be yellow card for persistent offences (Partey, Crystal Palace Game).
5. Yellow card for Mcarthur is a correct decision, no serious foul play.
6. vs Leicester. Yellow card for Evans is incorrect, that was a DOGSO situation in my opinion. There are some arguments for a yellow card (main: long distance to goal) but I think that it should be red.
7, Everton vs Arsenal game. Fortunately, Mike Dean is retiring. It was one of the worst referee performance in this season.
8. vs Southampton. Correct decision. Clear foul on Walker Pieters.
9. vs West Ham No foul on Soucek
10. vs Manchester City. It should be a penalty on Odegaard.
11. Acceptable decision, stupid holding by Xhaka.
12. Rodri should be sent off.
13. vs Liverpool. good decision by Oliver. DOGSO + potentially serious foul play.
14. vs Wolves. Another correct two yellow cards for Martinelli
While martinelli call was correct I think it's a bit harsh giving him back to back yellows without giving him another chance typically when refs give a yellow they dont typically give another yellow right after their first one.
