But I feel he doesn’t have very good punishment and relies on easily getting into his 50-50 which is not one of the best in the game, and his damage isn’t particularly good. Definitely not saying he’s bad though, actually just pretty fair.

See, that's the thing about that haircut, if it hasn't been used so damn much, i honestly wouldn't mind Eddy having this haircut. If it was just killmonger, then the only other character in gaming to have the same hair style is Eddy, I would be cool with it. I think its more that the hairstyle has overused more then just the hairstyle itself, if that makes sense

I got to Garyu day one with Eddy by mainly mashing 3.
Once I got to Garyu, mashing 3 wasn't really cutting it anymore and I had to play Tekken lmao. Currently Tenryu looking to get to Ruler soon.
I think it's funny how Leroy and Eddie switch positions just from one Tekken game Leroy was the bonus character and Eddie was a character that was already in the starting characters and now Eddie's the bonus character and Leroy in the starting characters💯😅😅😅😅😅

If there's anything that I'm glad Afro might've taken away from his experience playing this game, it's the fact that he'll probably be using Tekken music way more. Which is a good thing because the music are bangers.

You can also do upforward 3+3 at the beginning of the combo and he’ll do a jump kick into the launcher which does way more damage 6:55
Eddy uses Caporiera a fighting style prominently using spins and kicks from the ground

Eddy is actually super easy to counter and it’s the funniest thing once you realize it. His hitbox extends to his legs, as it does with other characters; but his is way more prevalent.
Any time he starts a rotation/sequence, all you have to do is sweep the leg or aerial kick. The sweep and/or kick registers first due to it striking eddy’s legs mostly. Regardless if he’s currently in offensive action or not.
So yeah, any time an eddy main is doing a rushdown… literally just continuously sweep or jump kick and you’re gonna piss them off to where the momentum is instantly deleted lol.
Edit: This strat also works for yoshi’s who spam flea, yoshi’s hitbox changes to mid/high so all you have to do is jump kick him directly out of flea.

He’s just easy to use and new, so not only do people not know the matchup but he’s mash friendly, there were plenty of times you should have been punished in all your fights but they didn’t know what or how to do so

Ya he actually not too very good he’s catching people off guard, because most people spam X like Afro
3333 is easy bro. Go into lab make opponent Eddy. Have him 3333. Defend it. All you do is stand there and don't press anything every hit is a mid/high for the majority of the combo then he drops into negativa low relax stance and goes es for a leg sweep; that is when you crouch block or low parry; crouch block is actually better though because you can hit him with a rising 2/y which stuns and is a free launcher or you can just launch them because the low sweep is supeeerrr punishable in the 3333 combo. Hope this helps. Helped me a bit. Edit; rising Y stuns and gives free combo with my character; also I said low block is better because you get a full combo with how punishable his low is in the 3333 combo; but with a low parry you do not get a full juggle or full combo. Hope this helps
