- A severe tropical storm has killed at least 45 people in the Philippines, unleashing floods and landslides in southern provinces, officials have said.
Storm Nalgae caused the most havoc in Maguindanao province, on Mindanao Island. There is extensive flooding in and around the city of Cotabato.
Nalgae is sweeping north, where the capital Manila expects torrential rain.
Rescuers pulled many bodies from thick mud after landslides. The storm winds are gusting at up to 95km/h (59 mph).

Hello good morning friends

Prayers to the Philippines 🇵🇭 🥲🙏🏼

Filipinos deserve the inept and worthless government they elect.
@@gangasingh2261 why did you just say ok?
Hello good morning
Hello
I live in Mindanao and found out that two of my classmates(plus some of their family) have been killed in the landslides with only 1/8 of us being safe from the tragedy with me being one of them and the rest either injured or is left completely homeless😥😭😭
Pray to my people in Mindanao for this loss and pray for all of us to find the strength to stand up once again🤲🤝🙏💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Me and my other classmates are trying to cope and understand the situation the best we can, especially after it got worst when we found out that two of our classmates and their families have been killed by a landslide since they live in the mountains, which traumatized us especially since most of us woke up at 2 to 3am in the early morning hearing horrified screams(which is what happened to me) and others suddenly leaving themselves completely homeless with nothing but their phones (from trying to call their other relatives) in their possessions, and were only able to sleep peacefully at 8 to 10am in the early evening.
NO ONE expected it to happen at ALL since the day before the storm there were hardly any rain or any signs of a storm, and flooding to THAT extent have never happened in Mindanao for YEARS so it really was a humorless surprise.
So very sorry to hear about your loss. Love and Best Wishes from Canada.
@CanadaCommunity Org : COMPLETELY AGREE!!!! 🙂🖐🏼
Filipinos deserve the inept and worthless government they elect.
Philippines is the most vulnerable country when it comes to natural disasters. But we are also pressured by some powerful nations to act upon their carbon footprint. They need to reflect their actions to themselves and stop blaming third world countries. They are the ones who's polluting and getting our natural resources for their own good.
Thoughts to everyone in the Philippines 🇬🇧❤️ 🇵🇭
Prayers from USA to our Filipino friends suffering through this storm.

Filipino's are resilient!!! Even this storm you will see smiles on their face ... Of course except with the families who had death on their family... Condolence to the 45!!!
May their souls rest in peace, this so terrifying
This storm took a right turn up through Manila and the center of Luzon and then a left turn just north of us in Zambales. The storm is now churning up heavy monsoons at our house as it makes it's way across the West Philippine Sea.
Condolences to the families who lost love ones, pray that they will recover from the devastation.
Prayers sent 🙏🏾 ❤️

Hello good morning
Hello
I love the Philippines but unfortunately it’s a hotbed for natural disasters Floods monsoons earthquakes volcano eruptions. They get it all

We had one local accident during this storm yesterday wherein a guy's head was smashed, probably due to landslides and fast flashfloods, to the point that the only immediate way to recognize his identity was through a tattoo on his arm. Another man was found today. Both of them were from the same village located at a high-risk area for landslides.
Very sorry to hear this. Love and Warmest Wishes from Canada.
Buti meron pa kayong electric and maka gamit ka ng CZcams, glad you still have electricity and able to use internet for CZcams
@@TharaLetzISLANDER fortunately, our neighborhood never experienced electrical power disruption throughout the entire two consecutive days of nonstop rainfall. We weren't affected by the flood so there was no need for a sudden electrical cut off and we were able to keep up with the latest news via social media. How's the situation there in Bohol?
Stay safe, Philippines love🇮🇩
praying for the families
We were affected by it directly. We are south of Metro Manila and we had some flash flooding here when one of the dams let out water. We lost a lot of our furniture and appliances and a lot of food. The street outside was flooded up to head level. the entire ground floor was flooded in less than 15 minutes, it was like a tsunami :( the water receded by morning but everything's ruined. The streets in our subdivision are full of mud and filth. Things were normal 48 hours ago, but now everything's upside down. And we have another typhoon coming, typhoon Queenie. :(
That is so intense.
I respect everyone who were involved in this Seriously the best piece that i ve ever seen on CZcams 💌 Hate off to well all 💟 love your videos.
Imagine Philippines has 20 typhoons every year
This is just a severe tropical storm, not even a typhoon and yet it felt like it did so much damage which it did. Most of the southern Philippines is almost underwater and the place where I live (in the north) didn't experience any flooding for years and this is the first storm that drowned my front road and the water is almost at the doorstep. Clearly an effect from climate change. Thankfully the storm died down for a bit and we just got power back but the damage and casualties in the far south is unfortunately gonna be extreme...
Think you could've waited at least a day before jumping on the graves of the victims to push climate change talking points
So very sorry to hear this. I know a few people in the Philippines, I'm hoping they live in unaffected areas. Much Love and Warmest Wishes from Canada.
@@sylezjusz : Please don't respond like this, this man could very well be right on this. Eventually, the entire world will be effected in one way or another. I'm beyond sickened by the level of denial concerning this, STILL!!

We should adapt the 'Bahay na Bato' and 'Bahay Kubo' architecture that our ancestors introduced to us hundreds of years ago. They designed those houses for a reason as typhoons and flooding is frequent in our country since the first storey is just being used as storage and the upper levels were the habitable part of the house. I don't know why we abandoned such design as it would helped us avoid damaging properties during high tides and floods. We need to reintroduce the architecture that were put in place by those before us. It's also beneficial for those who lives in low lying areas like near the coasts and rivers.
Sincerely appreciate the knowledge you share 👀👀
O my God please help this country people

This is due to poor government disaster management.

Hello good morning friends
Those were interesting questions but they were not answered and only got misdirected. Gordon looks like he has to choose his words carefully when talking about the government.
That guy was a senator only a year ago. He is being careful because he's buddies with them
Not surprising. It’s a tyrannical government that oppresses its citizens.
Good old talk only. People cannot feel the help. Only picture taking ops.
Hello
Hello
My heart goes to the victims and their families. 😢 local governments should have done infra development like decades ago to relocate people to safer zones. Giving charity and aid is crucial but if typhoons hit our country 20 times greater, all help will be put to waste. We need innovation in our engineering and also getting rid of this Filipino attitude of “ako muna,” greed in profiting even coming from the aid, crab mentality. These behaviors must be known, everyone be aware.
Nothing new. Apart from years of active global Geoengineering. Weather modification. Research 🙉
The clocks go back tonight. How far back shall we put them? 1912, so we can scupper the Central Bank system from being created in 1913.
