  • After ballasting it’s time to start looking at the trackside details and infrastructures, in this video I’ll be looking at three products from Scale Model Scenery, Catch pits, Concrete trunking and UTX cabling. Then I’ll be looking at three PECO products, Dummy point motors, AWS ramps, TPWS grids and then finally looking at the Wills Kits Relay boxes.

Great video. Lots of ideas for my layout. Also love the weathering of your track. Have you ever done a video on that? Can’t see one in your listing but would love to see how you do it.

Hi Gordon, sorry not had chance to do a video on the track weathering, I’ve still got plenty of track to do so will try to incorporate a video at some point 👍🏻

It look's good, I got to ask but could you use foam or wood strips in place of the laser cut cable trunking and just scribe in the detail before painting it?

You could do as long as it’s flexible to bend, to be honest most of the trunking gets hidden when you do line side scenery
