    They really made the Drive/RAM upgrades super easy with this laptop. Good purchase back when I was living out of someone else's house and didn't have space for a PC. 1TB M.2 SSD went in last week and it feels like an entirely different beast. The RAM will be going in this week which will hopefully be good for some extra multitasking.

      That was my experience as well. The SSD can make a much bigger perceived difference, depending on what you're doing.
      I love my Lappy. Edited a 6 hour music festival video this summer after the ram upgrade, and render times were better than folks with better specced rigs.

    • @marcusfrombespokeaudio5372
      @marcusfrombespokeaudio5372  Před 3 lety +1

      @@tye.3388 There are 2 slots available for the ram. 16gb in each slot.
      Dual-channel refers to how your computer processes and uses the ram. It's possible to have both slots filled and still run in 'single channel' mode. You would still have access to both sticks, but it wouldn't run as fast as 'dual channel'.
      Disclaimer: Trying to use 2 *different* sticks of RAM generally means that you can't use dual channel mode, so pay attention to Speed(mHz) and Size(GB) when selecting your RAM.
      If you already have one stick of RAM installed and want to add just one more, be sure to match Speed and Size to the existing RAM.
