"They Are Racists And Radicals!" UK Students Follow US And Occupy University Campuses In Protest

- The Prime Minister's spokesman has said police will "have our full support" if students in the UK try to replicate protests at US universities.
More than 1,000 people have been arrested after pro-Palestinian protests on campuses across the US.
And this week, smaller but growing numbers of students have occupied several UK campuses.
Students in cities such as Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds have set up tents outside university buildings.
Talk's Ian Collins is joined by editor of the Jewish Chronicle Jake Wallis Simons to discuss.
Jake says: "They are racists and radicals, and the fact that they pose as anti-racists is simply a Trojan horse for the oldest form of bigotry and racism which is antisemitism."

This is a genuine question I have. What exactly makes Palestine so different from everywhere else that's experiencing conflict? Because from what I gather from looking at the pro Palestine side, there seems to be this mentality that the Palestinians are a uniquely sacred people that must be protected at all cost, referring to them as an "ancient people" and all that when there actually not. Why? What makes them special? Why is the rest of world meant to drop everything their doing to focus on this one group of people. I didn't see Ukrainians get this kind of privileged treatment, I didn't Kurdish people get this treatment, I didn't see anyone else get this kind of treatment. These protests are looking less humanitarian in nature and more like cult worship. Ye act like ye have some kind of personal stake in this piece of land or something. What makes Palestine so sacred?

How did Ukrainians NOT get treatment above and beyond??? Billions of dollars sent, borders opening up to accommodate refuges, ties cut with Russia, and essentially the whole of the Western world condemning Russia. How is this same treatment replicated for Palestinians when the bombings of their homes and bodies are actively financed by places like the US and UK? And the reason for the outpouring of support is because it is an immediate and current crisis, just like how Ukraine became an extremely hot topic right after Russia's invasion. Nobody thinks that Palestinians are uniquely sacred. But they are a people who are undergoing current genocide and an urgent crisis. Why SHOULDNT we care about the deaths of thousands of Palestinians?
