I've been wondering how to lower the chassis. Looks like a bit of subframe magic. I've always wanted a Kenworth passenger car, but don't want to be a half story up when driving it. The idea is a coast to coast highway car based on the T-800 (C-15, 10 speed) that I currently make money with, with a body inspired by a '38 Packard coupe with a modified Kenworth hood. My thought is to build the body around the existing firewall/dash/floor to save work with wiring and plumbing. I also want to modify the shifter so it looks like a period 3 speed floor shifter (still the 5 speed), and put the 2 speed (road ranger) on the dash. The thing I love about the C-15/10 speed combination is how smoothly it shifts at 1,300 RPM when bobtail, and that the kitty has more than enough torque to accelerate with traffic without having to torture it.
I would like one of those please.
