I used Blender. Blender is a free 3D program used to make animations like this, or my EWOW journey videos, or my Skill Hill videos (at least some of my Skill Hill videos). If you didn't know, Skill Hill is my Mini-EWOW. You can also import the original video in the Video Sequencer to look at as a reference. I used curves for the arms, I used shape keys to animate the arms, and I used a cylinder with a bunch of loop cuts and the Curve modifier to make the arms visible. I recommend connecting the limbs by using Bridge Edge Loops and using an Armature, just so that glitches don't happen. Curves can glitch out like crazy. I just drew the textures with my touchpad except for DoWnStaP, I drew him on my iPad, and then used Import as Planes. DoWnStaP looked like an animatic, so I gave him as little poses and expressions as possible, and choppy movement. I realized that the Yessoan book doesn't have a face. I made Ping Pong Cup Shots's boost bottle with the curve modifier, and converted to mesh so that I can use Spin. I'm kinda talented with Blender, so if you have any questions, just ask!
