I think the biggest factor is that she is a woman. Just look everywhere how the women are treated.
I wish she had won and I am a republican. I see merit and intelligence, not a party. She is not only knowledgable but she truly cares.

Katie Porter, Warren's student at Harvard Law School, is one of several excellent freshman Democrats in the House. Her props are devastating, she does so much in her 5 minutes, and she prepares and know the answers beforehand like Warren so catches these crooks in their lies. What's so sad is these fools get the questions before yet don't prepare so they look like the crooks, liars, and incompetent fools that they are!

Yesss my favorite line of her's is "at best you were incompetent and at worst you were complicit, either way you should be fired."
Her campaign wasn't smart enough to tell her to endorse Bernie when it mattered, after Bernie tried to push Warren to run in 2016 but she declined the offer.
Nor was it smart to label him as a sexist, and endorse Hillary instead when she gave the hint that she might choose Warren as her VP. Hillary ended up choosing Tim Kaine and Warren got backstabbed and left with nothing. Listen to what Michael Moore said about her legacy. Warren more than anyone else may be the most responsible for dividing and destroying the momentum we had.
Elizabeth is better than Barney, Johnson, Stein and Trump rolled into one. Hands Down! I'm going to be following her for the next four years. I really think she is going to help set the agenda and mandate for the next candidate that will run against Trump in four years. Additionally, we need to get clues from her about the elections in two years. We need to be ready for that.
She is the only politician that truly gets me motivated. Awesome! I'm sure the upcoming cronies are not going to be happy with her, but who cares.

I'm British, but we see exactly the same depressing things here. Elizabeth Warren's videos are inspirational because she's so smart, well-informed, well-motivated and courageous, but they are so depressing because - even with her, and a democracy and the machinery of public accountability, we can sit back and watch the sleezball lawyers and otherwise wealthy theives grin in open defiance at the state and continue to do what they do for their own good and at the expense of ours. What's missing is easy to see - real accountability. Very many expensive haircuts need to GO TO JAIL. that is what it will take to change behaviour - but that's not going to happen because of corruption. Political parties need the money they take from the rich to fund their efforts to get elected. The answer is to limit all political funding to that provided from the public purse. Without donations to political parties, the rich have no lever on power. Without that lever on power, those elected are free to implement real measures to punish the wrong-doing elite. So it comes down to public funding of politics.

I like this Senator but when she asks a question she needs to let the "interrogated" actually answer. White may have had a plausible point of view that sheds light on inner workings worthy of later followup. instead - the good senator ran out of time getting little if any Mary White on the record.
