I love how Miz reacts, he's so genuine and present and excited to hear CVV's story. It's awesome to see someone who's such a seasoned vet still be that child-like wrestling fan behind it all.
That "You got to be there" I could hear how he wished he was there too
@@davidkunkle3262 it's easy to forget that miz was just a huge wwf fan first that ended up getting to live his dream. Doesn't seem like being in the business stopped him being a fan
I’d argue he’s still a child like wrestling fan. Miz has had some great runs but he seems more about putting talent over and offering his advice. This guy started on reality tv talking about how he will become a wrestler. Now look at him. Hell I’m sure the show he does with his wife makes him around the same if not more than his wrestling contract lol the guy had goals and achieved them
And one of the best heels in my opinion. This guy can make me hate him fast 🤣
Miz is a trooper...he was kicked out of the locker room I think by JBL when he was a rookie and still managed to work hard and gain everyone's respect. He deserved better pushes.
He's a good actor
This was the Rock’s finest moment. He went in with a guy (Hogan)who was physically limited and made him look like a million dollars. And even though Rock won Hogan left more over than ever and got one last run at the top because of it.
Never had work with Stone Cold, so to Stone cold being limited as will
@@rosssutton6324 that was such poor English I legitimately don’t know what you mean
👏👏
@@Runnerboy2012 like your mom
@CVV CLIPS Here's the Diddy
You can take The Rock to anywhere in the world, he will sell out.
It's not racism! The Rock was simply better
Drink beer
Eat your vitamins
The Rock had different personalities, as heel as baby face,
Follow his career, yes Ultimate Warrior Hulk Hogan SCSA The Undertaker, iconic but The Rock was better.
It's why he is the most successful WWE entertainer in the history of Hollywood. Cry.
I always love it when wrestlers get surprice by the cheers they get, reminds me of bob backlund at the 2000 royal rumble
Or Kenta Kobashi at ROH
Or Triple H during his 2002 return. Returned to cut a heel promo but the crowd turned him face at that moment. Got a pop louder than Austin and Rock
@@sebasfv5705aew mark
Based on the enormous crowd polarization, Rock and Hogan had to switch up their roles as heel and face
That was crazy.
Yeah, and they pretty much did a double turn for their rematch at No Way Out 🔒in 2003.
That detail to me is what makes this even better.
To this day I still wonder whether the “Hulk-Up” spot was an audible. I assume it must have been but that’s just bonkers to think about.
Miz is so down to earth.
He really is. He might be the nicest wrestler I ever met besides Cena. Super cool dude
Kind of weird when he has that heel-ish face. Such disconnect
@@dvon1097I mean he could be a dick too, how on earth would you know
In my life I met a couple of wwe wrestlers and honestly the miz was one of the nicest wrestlers I’ve met
Him and r truth were genuinely so nice and my child self changed my views on them(they were both heels when I met them)
End of the day, he's still just a huge wrestling fan.
Love how Miz started asking the questions 😂
Great Dynamic shown
He’s a wrestler, but almost every wrestler started out as a fan. And that never goes away.
It’s Miz Tv
Undertaker vs HBK, I know that's cliché at this point. I'm gonna rewatch it right now
I got to be there for that one. Their first bout at 25. Words can't describe it
Not cliche mate. Best match ever.
Also Angle vs HBK
WM20 triple threat is up there along with hbk vs taker and angle vs hbk
Austin vs Bret
Hogan standing ovation the next night was wild as well.
Hogan is GOAT
PERIOD.😊😊
Rock is up there with him
The Miz has always been one of my favorite people, and even my grandma is like "he see seems like such a nice guy"
That match made me feel like a kid again. I was 12 during Wrestlemania III, when Hogan wrestled Andre the Giant, and a huge Hulkamaniac. Wrestlemania X8 brought me right back to that feeling...The Toronto crowd was on fire, and they understood the basic formula when it comes to the WWF/E:
Hulk Hogan + Wrestlemania = magic.
Always does.
Canada always gives the loudest pops for Hulkster.
Hulk= GOAT
😊
I was conscious for about 10 seconds when this match happened I was only 2. I looked up at the box tv and saw Hogan and Rock look at each other and then the crowd like the slow head turn they did. And I turned around and saw my two older brothers watching in awe. Then I went back into autopilot lol
Stop it lol
Memories don’t start forming until at least 3 years old. That’s scientific fact. Stop capping 🙄
Lol why would you come on here and just make that story up? You know damn well than never happened.
Autopilot lmaooo
I died reading this 😂
Best mania snatch of all time .. I was there as well.. and the emotions .. the energy .. I was proud of the Canadian crowd cuz we didn’t follow the script WWE had in mind.. because how we loved HOGAN!! I loved how the rock and hogan adjusted to the crowd .. loved it!
It's interesting how huge Hogan was/is in Canada, even when he was a heel
@@JGD185it been said years ago Canada is Hogan country.
There is no “script.” Everything is choreographed. In history, every single main event, face or heel, the characters are admired otherwise they wouldn’t be headlining.
that match was phenomenal! I went in thinking it was going to be an OK match and ended up being completely blown away by how great it was, especially with the crowd reaction.
They did the minimum to draw that much crowd reaction. Amazing! Truly one of the best Wrestlemania matches.
No modern wrestler will ever do it again
The crowd going APE SHIT for Hogan makes sense. This Mania being in Toronto with Hogan was like adding Nitrogen to C4.
Yeah
I've always noticed Canada loves The Hulkster 😊
The miz is that one individual who will be interviewed to interviewing during his interview 😆 amazing video Chris
I was also at that WrestleMania man what a moment it was as a 20 year old man. Seeing your childhood hero wrestle for the first time
I was there in Toronto. It was amazing how the crowd kept switching who they were cheering or booing. It wasn’t really like back and forth chants, but the whole crowd switched modes several times. And Rock switching to his old heel persona on the fly was incredible.
Plain and simple the crowd makes this match. Go back and watch it without sound. It’s not great at all.
Miz is extremely under appreciated
This match proves that the audience makes the match. If this was in the pc time, the moment would've been drastically different
The crowd made this match man it was so electric not too many moves just like 20 min of working the crowd 2 legends right here
U can really see just how big of a wrestling fan Miz is in this convo
We as fans can notice that Toronto and Canada is a die hard Wrestling along with Hockey, Basketball Baseball etc. The fans where enjoying that match. I visited Toronto back in 2019 and it's very exciting city to have fun etc.
Miz is the most underrated wrestler of all time. Almost as good a heel as trip and such a genuine human being
He's rated just fine, come on. He might be underappreciated by some fans, but he's definitely not underrated -- he gets plenty of praises by both fans and wrestlers alike, and the company has given him plenty of opportunities that shows how much they are aware of his skills and drawing power (over 10 title reigns, movies, his own Piper's pit, his own reality show, host of WM, etc).
It's so cool to see the miz still being a fan :)
Hogan was a hero to kids in the 80's. The fans at WM18 were those same kids but as teenagers and young adults. They didn't forget him.
Got goosebumps when Hogan turned to the crowd and smiled
The Miz who has main evented Wrestlemanai fully being a fan for the story is wholesome.
Hulk and Rock calling the audible and pulling the double turn is part of what makes the match so special. The match itself? Fine. The way those two react to the crowd and then take control of them? Phenomenal.
This match was ELECTRIC! Might not be a technical classic but there’s no denying how iconic this match is.
This match not being a "technical classic" is EXACTLY why it was electric and why it was Iconic. Technical matches never bring that much excitement and never bring the crowd together like that.
Complicated submission, multiple moonsault, multiple superkick, screw all that
@@instgtr5200 not saying it is.. not what I consider a technical match anyways lmao
And Miz looking at the end like I'm waiting for my major cheering Moment 😂😂😂😂😂
Toronto was 🔥for that match. I lost my voice that day
Yep, was their in Toronto as well. Everyone chanted Hogan lol
Hogan looked amazing
Great shape at 50 years old
Powerful performance
GOAT
this is going in the "feel good" playlist
Im amazed at what a humble guy a legend like the miz is. I had the honour to see him perform live once. Amazing wrestler.
Miz is a great interviewer
I was there live!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing!!!! I ended up cheering hogan too! It was a crazy crowd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was there too. It was my first live event ever! What an experience.
Running home from the school bus in 2002 trying to get home as fast as I could to watch WM18 in Australia 🇦🇺 watching it on Austar.I always have and always will cheer for The Rock!!! I hated the fact that the fans were against him in that match! But was soooo happy he won that match!!! Memories man 😄😄😄😢
Only time I ever cried tears of joy after a match. Ever
i love that Miz ends up interviewing Chris
When he started Hulking up, the crowd just came completely unglued, and it was amazing.
The miz not being an annoying dusch is actually a good change i can actualy listen to him
I am happy that Miz and Ziggler finally getting the respect they deserve ❤
Yeah I was at the Guerrero and Lesnar match at no way out. That feeling was special, one of the best nights of my life for sure.
That match is a perfect example of how moves don't matter
Indeed
I really like how much Miz is still a fan of it all.
This was so damn wholesome. Both you guys deserve everything you have worked for and more. Keep spreading the love of wrestling. We need more of it.
The miz is awesome man...I've been a fan of that guy since the real world
Back when he introduced the world … to The Miz.
Everyone has their favorite WrestleMania match but the raw emotion from the fans in this one is next level. They are literally cheering for their childhood hero and that's cool just special
I bet that was one of Hogan's favorite moments of his career
We watched it in the theatre live in Newmarket. A few people I work with went there and sat near the front. They get to take home the wrestlemania chairs and showed us the following week
Best match WrestleMania history ❤ my childhood favorite match
My brother and I were watching that live and we starting looking at each other like, what is happening?? Yes, greatest match ever. We will never see that for any other wrestler ever. Simply the best. My brother and I were also at the Monday night RAW when they tried getting Undertaker to do a Spinoroonie.
To be fair this is basically the most insanely electric match I have ever seen. Not absolutely my favorite ever but it really is my favorite non-taped match for sure
Wrestlemania 25 undertaker vs shawn michaels
Miz’s reaction is awesome, no pun intended
I was there too! 10 years old. Will never forget that night
I was there too. That was a good night.
The fact that Miz fangirled for a second is honestly wholesome
I was in the nosebleeds and we were all going nuts, insane energy in Toronto
I watched it live man it was AWESOME
I was there too. The only bad thing was I was so high up all the wrestlers looked small.
I love how The Miz reacts to your Awesome memory.
I've been a hulk fan since I was a kid. They sold the hell out of that macth.
"That's a cool moment to have" so anyway we can get these moments graded since it's a collection now lol
I leave this comment on every out of character interview the Miz has ever done; He seems like the most sincere and nice dude.
Bro keep up the good work mannn wrestling was a big part of most our lives
pro wrestling is entertainment, and this match is the most entertaining match in the history of the business imo. doesn't get any better than this.
Miz ended up interviewing Chris😂😂😂
I agree it's one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. I would have never guessed that they could have put on a match like that but it just goes to show that when the Hulkster is properly motivated he can put on a hell of a match. I mean you don't have as much time in the business as he does at the top without knowing how to read crowds and play off of them.
Edit to mention that I have been a whole cater for a while now but can definitely respect and appreciate the match he had with The Rock.
This was the first ever wwe match that I saw and I’ve been hooked ever since. Been a fan of rock ever since and I’m so glad I get to witness the Attitude Era, the best era ever…
This was the last wrestlemania I got to watch with my uncle. I was in 5th grade but remember it like it was yesterday.
No lie that match is hype. U can feel that crowd energy through the TV man
Miz is such a class act.
My fave
Along with Brett/Austin double-turn.
It’s the definition of the crowd carries the match. if they had that match in the crowd couldn’t give a shit. It would be a stinker of a match. But because the crowd was so into it and so about it, it was so legendary.
Fantastic skill not to hurt one another, great entertainment and great fun.
I wasn't there, but I did watch it live (And taped it on my vcr). It was a crazy experience.
Respect for the Miz the match he had vs Cena with he hit his head finished the match thanks for the Rock WrestleMania XXVII
For some reason I feel like it’s an underrated pick but HBK vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 21 is my personal pick.
I mean, I think that's the greatest match both HBK and Kurt have ever been in
Very underrated anything Shawn Michaels at wrestlemania will be the best match in the card my personally is the one at WM 25 with taker
Me too
Definitely not underrated, it constantly get praised by fans and by both Shawn and Kurt. It was a highly anticipated and highly hyped match, and I think it delivered exactly what was expected. Personally I don't think it's the greatest WM match ever, but it definitely makes the Top 20. Glad I have it on dvd (the HBK "My Journey" dvd set).
@@jonathanturbide2232 Top 20???
the end of an Era match where hbk was special refree...that's a hell of a match
why I like the MIz as a person. He is the guy I love to hate....but love to love. he always seems a pretty chill and cool guy in real life as well he was a fan
Miz is so good he flips it and suddenly he’s interviewing the interviewer.
I agree.....it was a dream match that we thought would never happen. They were the faces of two different companies from two different generations. Usually in these sort of matches the older guy looks like a shell of his former self but nope....Hogan was jacked, was in his full glory and the whole match itself we perfect. Watching the fans cheer for Hogan even tho he was a heel was the icing on the cake. A true dream match that we never thought we'd see.
By far BEST match. Great story telling
Miz really is awesome. He deserves another title imo
Wish i had went since it was in Canada
I love how miz is just as much a fan as he is a wrestler
The Miz totally just marked out. He’s still a fan at his core. That’s awesome
I remembered watching this with my brothers and dad and I wanted the rock to win. But seeing how excited my dad was to watch Hogan i couldnt help but switch sides.
2 best Wrestlrmania matches. WM V. Hogan v Macho Man... WM VII Warrior v Macho Man.
What I love about the match is that both Rock and Hogan went in as their respective roles of face and heel respectively, but then played it up for the crowd reaction. The fans were so pro-Hogan that the two of them flipped for that night.
But yeah, that match was one of the greatest in WWE history.
Hulk Hogan vs Paul Orndorf Toronto Exhibition stadium " The Big Event" 1988 was a great card though mania 4 at Varisty Arena wasn't bad
*1986
I'm not 100% sure on this but I think Orndorff was top 3 ppl Hogan drew $$ with ...I think I remember seeing something whr Hulk said macho was #1 paul #2 and Bundy's mite have been up thr..but I specifically remember him saying macho n Paul were guys that he made the most $$$ with...n P.O was nvr the champ n didnt need a belt...absolute stud of a heel..definitely gotta b a top 10 heel all time..n had one of the best bodies in wrestling history as well..n we've all heard the stories of how tough this guy was..
Its really funny that this interview is of the Miz but its just Chris telling Miz a story
He spitting facts. I was there too, and we cheered Hogan 100%
That's funny, I don't consider myself a Hogan fan but just seeing Hogan's reaction to the crowd's reaction gave me goosebumps lol
This match made me a real wrestling fan watched it live on cable TV.
I was there too. My 3 older bros were Hulkamaniacs & though I grew up watching wrestling since 91' I was more of Rock fan cuz of Attitude Era. We nearly lost our voices during that match like our throats were dry but it was electrifying
This match was the closest to a movie we've ever seen in wrestling
